The good news? We've played better away than at home this season The bad news? Everything else. Their 2-5 thrashing of us at the Cottage in November was Kit's swan song. We've just got to hope that with a full, uninterrupted week of practice, Joka's got them ready to play well for 90 minutes, not just 45. I've got a feeling we may see Marcus Bettinelli back in goal. Nothing against Andy Lonergan, who has performed admirably in his stead, it's just that Marcus is better in my opinion, especially penalties. He actually saves some of them.

Seems like Fulham plays well at that ground for whatever reason. This squad needs to pull themselves up by the bootstraps (of course we've been saying that for months) and get a result. The Brummies have only lost twice on their pitch this season, but have have been drawn with 6 times. Not sure why I think we'll go Fulhamish and sneak a point here, but I'm saying 1-1.

What I'd like to do to Fulham at this point in the season with 9 games to go:

I'll take an away point in a 1-1 draw.

I am shocked, just shocked, we got beat on a header off a cross for a goal.

My first time in well over a decade to avoid a Fulham match completely. I still love the team, but I just can't take the constant unraveling of good or at least competent starts. It's even worse listening to Gentleman Jim getting a knife to the gut. As soon as we're either secure from relegation or actually relegated, I'm staying away. I'm too old to keep starting every weekend with a broken heart.

I listened to GJ & hung out in the chat room & came away angry with the bad result last week. So it was back to the apathetic approach this week & I'm calm as hindu cows. Looks like it was a very even match, so a point on the road isn't bad. That said, we're going to need to start picking up some 3 pointers soon.

The next match against MK Dons isn't quite a must-win, but if we can't get three points against them we will be in the relegation zone and probably deservedly so (technically a draw also keeps us above the cut, but that is cold comfort). Unfortunately, we have to wait until April to play that game. I wish it were sooner.
