Jim was in despair about our ability to accomplish nothing in the final quarter of the pitch. That being said, evidently Dembele fired over from a yard out [that used to be known as "pulling a Hymel"], and Ross almost got the winner in injury time. So we might have gotten three even though we looked poor.

Over on Friends of Fulham, a traveler posted that our guys were arguing with each other, disregarding instructions from the touchline, and generally looking pissed off with the world. If true, you have to wonder if it's because they don't like Grant, or because they DID like Kit, or because they're on the verge of some sort of revolt.

Outstanding! It should be a huge crowd and -- hopefully -- a great atmosphere. Enjoy!!!

It sounds and appears as if we're currently a rudderless ship. If even most of what I've read and heard (mostly on Mr Goldman's podcast) is accurate, we're a mess. It seems obvious there was no plan, or at most, a wish and a prayer plan, when Kit was sacked. There's no legitimate reason to start practice with one guy in charge and switch two days before the next match to another guy. Unless you were sure you had the replacement in hand, which we didn't, as it turns out. Even then, you name a guy and you stick with him for some semblance of normalcy's sake. The events of the past week lend a great deal of credence to what we saw on the pitch at Dons. Confusion (who's really in charge?). Inexplicable changes (Kavanagh, Voser, formation switch, then switched back at halftime). Arguing amongst players and with the bench. And just general malaise and indifference. Plus, Dembele's first miss was astounding. And, he still hasn't signed a new contract. And probably won't. Until Khan and Rigg show me some leadership qualities in terms of actions, I'm not too keen on our immediate future. This match was two points dropped because we weren't prepared for the void we created by sacking the manager.

Because there wouldn't be a transition period with a new manager in place? We got a point with a caretaker Manager (in his 1st match), a 3rd string emergency loan keeper, a backup cb & a fb playing wide mid (not sure why he went with Kav tbh)...on the road. I'd say job done, regardless of who we played.

The player nonsense will be sorted when a new Manager/Coach is appointed. It's disappointing, but not the end of the world.
