Offal: Vote for Goal of the Season

What say you? Had to watch the compilation a few times since I kept changing my mind.

For my money, it's gotta be LVC's break away versus Sheffield Wed, of those choices.

 

Give me LVC's meg and dink over the keeper against Huddersfield. Sexy time.

 

Since they didn't include Ruiz's header from Woodrow's header from McCormack's cross at home against Reading at the death, I, too, must go with LVC's brilliant against Huddersfield Town. Sensational play from our brightest young star.

 

I'm with Chicago on this one. McCormack had a couple cannon shots but LVC's goal took a combination of effort and skill to put it home.

 

I too voted for LVC at Huddersfield - but Jump is right, where is the Woodrow to Ruiz goal vs Reading?! When I saw the headline for this post I immediately thought of that one, no question about it. I was also stunned they didn't include McCormack's goal vs Middlesbrough. Yes the goalie was out of position and it was essentially an empty net, but it still required skill to get into the clear, plus it completed his hat trick and sealed the last game at home that we weren't supposed to win. I guess I put more emphasis on the "memorable" elements of a goal than the skill it took to score it.

I was also fond of Smith's goal in the corner and Bodurov with the outside of his foot.

McCormack's goals are mostly boring. I suppose we should appreciate a lack of drama with our lead scorer - just put the ball in the net.
