Europa League final '15

Since we made the final in 2010, I thought I'd jump in here, since a somewhat familiar name has made a surprise run to this year's final. Remember Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, one of the many unpronounceable sides we encountered during our Europa run the following year? We beat them 3-1 on aggregrate to qualify for the group stage of the tournament that year. They upset Napoli today in Kiev to advance to the final in Warsaw on May 27th. They'll be decided underdogs against defending champions Sevilla who, of course, line up against Barca and Real Madrid four-plus times a season. I'll be rooting for the Ukrainians.

 

While sensitive to the Ukraine/Russia dynamic, no mention of Ukraine goes without this:

 

...is now mere moments away in Warsaw. Who do you like? As much as I'd like to see the minnows from Dnipro do it, one would think Sevilla has too many weapons not to prevail. But I have a soft spot for decided underdogs, so I'll go with the Ukrainians.
