I didn't watch game 7. I was at the San Antonio Missions game with HatterMom. I DID see the winning basket from Chris Paul, and all I can say is that the guy who impressed me so much as a rookie is the guy I want to lift the trophy. Go gettem CP3 and Doc!

The question for all us Spurs fans is this: Is this the end of Timmy and Pop? If so, we're going back to where we were before Pop, but hey 5 NBA championships and showing the world how the game should be played is plenty for me.

I hope CP3 isn't badly injured. It would be ashamed to see the winner of that matchup not advance at full strength.

I thought both Pop and Doc were class acts in the post game press conference.

We'll see if the Clippers have a letdown after the Spurs. Hard to imagine they won't. CP3 is officially questionable for Game 1. If I had to guess, he misses the first game, the Clippers come out flat and Houston takes it. But that's the only easy one the Rockets will get. The Clips come alive in Game 2 and make a series out of it. No ultimate prediction other than I expect it to be another barn burner.

West: No chance Memphis can hang with Golden State without the most underrated point guard in the NBA Mike Conley. Even if he does come back it will be with a mask.

Clips and Rockets. The best thing to come out of the Clippers series was that the idea of breaking them up is long gone. They are missing another wing player and one more role player on the bench and they can win the title. However, they only have 6 reliable players and it won't be enough. CP3's hammy is too big of an issue, the smart play is picking the Rockets in 6.

East: Hawks and DC. Hawks are the classic example of a team that peaked in Feb. The Wizards were on the verge of firing their coach at that time, but have rallied and look capable of winning this series. Atlanta better win Game 2 or it could be a short series.

Cavs and Bulls. Chicago needs a healthy Noah and he seems off to me. Cleveland still has LeBron and Irving so will take them in 7. The biggest side note for the rest of Cleveland's postseason is what will happen to Kevin Love will depend on how far the Cavs go. He has a player's option that he will likely exercise if they lose. If they win it, he will go for sure. He is a great post player, but with the Cavs they want the post empty so LeBron and Irving have the space so Love most of the time stands in the corner wondering what he did to deserve this.

Memphis is a tough nut to crack and with Conley back this isn't going to be easy for the NoCals. Because they play in Memphis few people realize this is a very experienced playoff team (have been to the Conference finals and this is their third trip to the second round in last 5 years). Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph are true Grizzlies in the post. Still like GS to win this series, but they better get one in Memphis.

I checked out the scoreboard Monday night and saw that the Clips were hanging in at Houston even without CP3. Then last night I finally realized that the Clips not only won but seriously handed the Rockets their collective ass.

If CP3 can be back by the first match in LA, I'm still liking them to go all the way. I wish I'd seen the match now. Stunning.

It was an ugly game. 44 total turnovers. The Clippers looked out of sorts at times and the Rockets looked rusty. I'm glad we came away with the win, but I don't think the rest of the series will look like Game 1.

Can I change my Houston-Clippers pick? The Spurs series gave them a lesson on what championship level hoops is, and they took the lesson and applied it to destroying the Rockets. Houston misses Patrick Beverly big time, but even with him Dwight Howard and Josh Smith are basket cases.

Where are Nev and Emi?? Golden State in a MUST win situation tonight. Memphis simply has been tougher so far. The Warriors better put on their big boys pants otherwise they are going home down 3-1.

LeBron owned the Bulls while he was with Miami. Finally it looked like Chicago had the team and the luck (Cav injuries) to get past him, but the second Pau Gasol got hurt the good vibes went away. Despite shooting a miserable 10 of 30 James hit the one that mattered.

Washington can't win the East without a healthy John Wall and Atlanta cant win the East period.

Present, madam and sir. And my son (which necessarily bleeds into me) is the Warriors supporter in the family. I'm just along for the ride with him.

But, the Warriors need to win tonight. From what I've seen, the Grizz have killed them on the low post (cough, Barkley comments) and they've turned over / shot poorly in copious possessions.
