And the home side will be especially boisterous with this news, they've gone back to blue:

These guys beat Watford at their place 1-nil at the end of November, but then lost 2-4 against them at home last month. This league seems really even and, therefore, difficult to predict. And what of the return to blue shirts? After the first five-ten minutes, if we can keep the crowd quiet, it'll cease to be a factor. If we start slow again....look out. We've stalled a bit for the first time under Kit, and we desperately need to get back to performing like we did when he was caretaker. To that end, I'm hoping to see some new/old faces in the lineup. And for Marcus Bettinelli's fine form to continue, which has been our savior during this slight skid. And after six consecutive scoreless halves, we need to score some GOALS!

This would be a good time to play in an all red kit. Shame we don't have one.

    Lineup (if we play)
    Bettinelli
    Grimmer, Bodurov, Hutchinson, Stafylidis
    Parker, Tunnicliffe, Fofana
    McCormack, Woodrow, Rodallega

Interesting line-up. No Ruiz and a very offensive minded front three. Will be good to see how Tunnicliffe does.

It's been falling. Eight consecutive scoreless halves. Pretty obvious lineup changes need to be made. The question is, of course, whom?

Kit in getwestlondon.co.uk after today's loss:

“You look at most clubs in the Championship and they have little spells where things don’t go so well.

“I think I need to understand that, I’m not happy about it, but it was probably pretty much inevitable that at some stage we were going to get a spell where we have a few defeats on the spin, you’ve got to try to make sure that doesn’t escalate.

“We go into a home game next Saturday against Reading, we’ll be very positive and we’ll be looking to win that game, end the run, and start a winning run."

Here's the problem...we HAD our "spell" at the bginning of the season. We can't afford any more such "spells." Otherwise, we're looking at League 1 next season. And we can't do anymore crisis, panic moves. No ownership change. No manager change. We've got to right the ship with the players we have RIGHT NOW, because there aren't any saviors out there in the transfer market. Unfortunately, we can't recall Matt Smith from Bristol City until the 25th of this month. A lot can happen in 15 days, but this move's a no brainer. He scored again today, and has 8 goals in his last 4 matches with the Robins,
including a brace two weeks ago against Gillingham followed by a four spot against them away four days ago.
What else folks? I'd bench Hugo and put Smith and McCormack up front.
    What else should we do?

Sounds like our lack of width is hurting us, but it's hard to say since I haven't seen enough of it and have ZERO trust in anything GJ says (blasphemy, I know).

No LVC + no Ruiz = No creativity = No goals

HatterDon perfectly expressed my concerns. We've got guys up front who can put the ball in the net, but they need someone to create opportunities. Without LVC and Ruiz in the past three matches we've had zero goals.

So if we part ways with Ruiz, as everybody expects, what then?
