Beckham's salary

Beckham has announced that his salary at PSG will be donated to a Paris childrens charity. That's class.

 

According to the Daily Mail it's £150,000-a-week.

I've got all the shirts for the kids, you can see little Harper's one here. Blown away by the reception of the people in Paris.

Glad to get so many positive comments about the donation. Victoria and I made the decision to give the wages away to a children's charity. We are incredibly fortunate so we are glad we could do this with the club's blessing. Thanks as always for your support, I will always do my best for you.

Yes it's generous of him but the French government was going to take most of his salary anyway. Let's just hope it's for real and we dont hear about some backroom, under the table deal with the Qatari's

 

I don't know what French tax rates are, but I figured he would get taxed up the wazoo.

 

I thought they were 75% after 1 mill euros but I guess that measure didnt pass so I dont know what they are either. So even more generous than I thought

 

He was starting to look pretty washed up with the Galaxy. Anyone think he'll get any amount of serious playing time with the other stars they've brought in. Perhaps he has gone over there to secure a Qatari investment in MLS. Becks does have that option to own an MLS team as part of his original deal with MLS.
