I want Forlan to score 5 goals and get the Golden Whoosie!

I was a bit concerned when I saw Germany's lineup. I wondered why Ballack was playing in goal. Then I realized that the guy's NAME is Butt, rather than his HEAD.

    Go Uruguay!

There were only three unenjoyable features of this brilliant match.

    1. The pitch isn't good enough for an English L1 side to play on.
    2. Ian Darke
    3. John Harkes

Once again, they decided to spend the match talking about stuff that didn't matter [Klose not getting a chance to beat Ronaldo, Forlan's "injury," Suarez getting booed by the local fans], and so missed a pretty magical match. I am soooooooooo pleased that they're not broadcasting the final.

Wow... Maybe I need to start a poll/thread on biggest losers on the ancillary side of this WC.
I'll call it "Word! to Turd!"
Ian Darke is surely gonna be on it. We started out loving him, and just hating Harkes.. now everything I see on Ian Darke is negative.

I can't stand him, but he's had a phenomenal tournament. He's my pick for the Golden Ball; none of the other nominees have carried their team like he has.
