I'm just glad it's not Nike. Their shirts were of a lower quality than the Puma ones (the LG logo was a cheap stencil-on and the sewing on the Fulham badge was mediocre), they don't fit as well, and are so boring.

I thought the Puma 2003-2004 home shirt in particular was cool; the non-symmetric design was interesting. I hope Kappa comes up with an innovative design. In particular, I'd like a really radical 3rd kit design since it could be really good and if it isn't, we only have to see it a couple of times a year anyway.

At least it's not whatever-that-fraud-French-company-was that had our contract between Puma and Nike.

I was right mates, I have good sources! :D
Apart from the jokes, Kappa is one of the best football manufacturers, top quality, pure Italian style, look at this beautiful outfits.

Man, there really is no way to make green and orange an attractive color combination, is there?

NOOOOOOOOO. Why? I like Nike. I hope we're getting substantially more money for this, its the only valid justification.

It's a question of tastes, mates, personally I love the kappa outfits both for their design and their quality.

For the sake of our dear Han Solo, I will abstain from voicing any further opinion on this matter.

Spencer, I doubt it. The press release when we signed with Nike said it was a record deal for the club. This one didn't. From what I understand, this deal is 3 yrs, $6m (usd). No idea what the $$ were for the 4 yr Nike deal.

I've got to question whether Han is suffering any residual carbonite damage if that giant logo on the shoulder is tasteful. Nike templates had a lot of faults, but the one thing I'll give them credit for is that they didn't make the kit all about advertising their logo.

I'll give the complaining a respite until they release pictures of the thing.

I will miss Nike's minimalist kits. Love the retro look. Italian kits can be good at times, but sometimes they're an abomination. We'll have to wait and see, I guess. Could be cool.

I'll admit I wasn't too happy to hear that we were switching to Kappa, but like the majority of companies they all have some good and bad ones. I liked the ones they made for Roma, but those Pompey ones were terrible. I can't wait to see what they come up with...now.

Kappa can go wither way. I'm hoping for more Roma and less Pompey.

The White Werder Bremen jersey Han posted is sharp, but the kappa logo on the sleeve is way too big for me.

Rumor mill also has the kit sponsor as American Airlines. I have a hard time seeing an airline spring for that at this time.

Hey, maybe they'll push for more Yanks like LG was rumored to have pushed for Seol.

My only problem with that is the blue on the AA logo. If they can put it in red and white on the shirt, then that would be fine. It's jarring when the sponsor logo does not go with the shirt, like the red, white, and blue logos in the black and yellow Wolves kit.
