Does anyone of you guys have any tips about the new kit?
Rumours has it in Italy that Kappa would take over from Nike as kit manufacturer.

I've heard next year is our last with Nike and that Kappa is the favorite to take over in 2011-12.

There's no way I wear a shirt that looks like that awful shirt pompy wore for the FA cup.

I wonder if those stupid silhouettes on their shoulders were part of their "historical" kits?

You're right General...that Pompey kit was awful. I sure hope Kappa has another look for us, if they are taking over.

I'd like a goalkeeper shirt like the one that they provided for A.C. Siena, the classic English green with a white and black horizontal panel (the colours of Siena are black and white).

I know a lot of people on here don't like Nike, but I am a fan of the basic Nike looks they have given Fulham the last couple years.

Keep it clean and keep it simple is my opinion.

I loathe Kappa kits. Besides the naked silhouettes clash with the class that is Fulham FC. Please stay with nike. You can count on them to create a simple kit that is bound to look nice

I agree with you 100% on all accounts. Let me know when you're finally old enough to drink, and I'll send Jensers enough dosh to buy you a Fullers ESB.

    Well done, that lad!

I like Kappa. Hot chick sillhouettes are nothing I have a problem with. Depending on the finished product, I'll buy one (or two).

    1. The "hot chicks" look about 14
    2. One of the "hot chicks" is a boy

Looks just a little too Larry Clark borderline pedo for me.

It took me awhile to figure out that the kappa logo is a boy/girl and not the naked chick you see on truckers' mud flaps. No matter what the silhouette is, the logo is horrible.

I have also liked the simple Nike kits - even tho I am always unhappy with the Nike stuff when I get it. Feels like I paid way too much.

At least Adidas has sewn in different panels and claim venting and whatever. Most Nike stuff I get turns out to be the same as a basic jersey and they have simply changed the printing on it.

I do not like the cartoon-ness of Kappa as of late... But we will have to see what they come up with I guess.

I keep checking some of the sites that "leak" photos of kits before they are released but have yet to see anything for us. If I do see something I'll be sure to post it here. I too will be disappointed if we go with Kappa. I'd rather go back to Puma or Adidas if we're gonna make a change.

I've also seen a rumor that the sponsor is going to change. Anyone else heard that?

Kappa has a definitely more continental flair, so I imagine many a pasty ol' Brit curmudgeon won't like it either.

This much I know, Europa League or not, this season's strip was benign at best. Give me the white collars of Nike two seasons ago, or give something with an edge like Puma in 04/05, but don;t settle for some sort of srtylistic middleground. It just looks indecisive, and usually less than appealing.

It always seems to be that Fulham is one of the last to be "leaked."

According to the Fenway Sports Group press release

"FSG's (Fenway Sports Group) primary responsibility will be to secure commercial partnerships for Fulham, including a new jersey sponsor for the 2010/11 season and beyond."

I LOVED this season's home kit, was indifferent to the Red away, and hated the midnight navy. It was awful that in the biggest game in our history, we had to wear a kit that was worn less than 5 times all year by us. So many people saw us for the first time and think those are our colors, ridiculous.

I'm actually a big fan of Kappa in general, and i really liked the Portsmouth kit in the Cup Final. I wouldn't mind at all if that happened, but I doubt it does.

Here's the word that most of the European sites have:

    1. The kit sponsor is likely to change BEFORE next season.
    2. The kit maker is likely to change AFTER next season.

I can't guarantee that this is, indeed, the fact, but that's what I've read.
