We are Fulham! (with a tear in my eye and pride in my voice)

It's a sad night, for I wanted this win so, so much. I really have a tear in my eye as I write this. But, it is also a night to say thanks, guys, for a season of surprise, wonder, amazement, and excitement.

"This is Fulham, this is the team that knocked out the holders Shaktar Donestk, this is the team that knocked out the competition favorites Juventus, this a team that has now knocked out two major German forces in a row and has knocked out the hosts, this is a team that went into the ring with Roma and came out bruised... but alive, this is the team that has played 18 games in Europe, that began its campaign 10 months ago and which will play a 19th game in the Final of the Europa League, THIS IS FULHAM"

Hear Hear!

I am sitting here with my good friends- John Jameson and his sons- finally reflecting on this campaign and although we might never see another morning begin with such hope as this, I count my self one of the lucky few who actually got to see what we as a club did achieve.

Thank you lads, Roy, and Mister Al Fayed- and especially to my family of supporters.
