I was just checking Facebook and saw it on the FulhamFC page. When I first saw it I had to think if it was April 1st.

Maybe he sold Harrods so he can finally make us the Manchester United of the South!

Somehow I have the feeling that it's serendipity of a sort.

The global economy's gonna get much worse {Greece Spain.. even China} before it gets better and, depending on his net from the sale, this will protect both him and the Club. Debt owed to MAF by FFC means nothing, and even more so now.

Funny you should say that because he sold Harrods for 1.5 billion pounds and there was a report today that the Glasers were offered 1.5 billion for the actual ManU

None of the above... I love the 'MAF selling Fulham' thread on the Offal!

In the first pllace, someone in the press gets their prelim facts a little twisted and alla sudden the sky is falling.. or might fall or it's clouding up!
    Or something.

    Here's what I posted:

So.. there's gonna be no sale of Fulham, cause it aint no trouble and it gives him satisfaction and doesnt cost much to maintain.

The Harrod's sale -AGAIN- allows him liquid assets and you can bet it'll be in something NOT dependent on World Economic woes.

Obvioously the equity recovered from Harrods is not the full sale value but it'll be enough for steady maintenance and improvement of the club.

Get that? I didnt give myself the tag "FUSA's Foremost Authority for nuffink!

I think it's more likely that MAH leaves rather than he invests on the club.
i hope he won't leave, but should he leave I hope that with the new chairman the first steps will be to confirm Roy Hodgson and to change our current horrible badge.

Also, the Fulham fans seem to be the only people in England that like MAF. As witnessed by the "Take me Home" song.

With the sale, what will happen to the many Dodi and Diana memorials stationed around Harrod's?

That's NOT a small thing. MAF is human. He may even come to see FFC as his greatest achievement, if he doesnt already.
Pretty sure those are covered in some way.. some go to Scotland, maybe even one or two to the Cottage,, and maybe even one stays at Harrods. New group not averse to the culture ramifications.

Bottom line: Get it that I am saying he KEEPS the club, but doesnt necessarily change it much!
