Argh! So nervous and anxious. I wish I could watch the match with fellow fulham fans but it is not going to happen. Is anybody going to be in the chat room?

Up at 3:30 AM flipping channels...check
Stomach churning with each bite of cereal...check
Actually remembering to drop off the kid at school (can't take credit, she's in Driver's Ed first period, and makes sure she's early)...check
Hyperventilating while waiting to leave for the pub...check

I will say this kind of nervous beats the HELL out of the feeling waiting for the Pompey game a couple of years ago.

Have a great time everybody, and let's see the lads hold that trophy!!

leaving in about 80-85 minutes to pick up The General at the airport. Then off to the Lion and Rose for lunch and the match.

I am INCREDIBLY nervous, as well as suffering from a headache [damn pollen] and a sore oblique muscle [damn lawn mowing -- which helped me inhale all the pollen].

Having said that, I'm ready. All the posts over on Facebook and the British Fulham sites is amazing. We're all geeing each other up, and it must be mad about now in Hamburg.

    We are Fulham

Does anyone know of a good place to watch the final in Chicago?

Either way, 1-0 Whites on a first half 25-yard scorcher from Duff would be a best birthday present I'd ever receive in my life COYW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just discovered you can pay $10 to watch live on UEFA's site- I think I'm going to do that, between food and travel costs, I might actually be saving money or spending the same amount as if I'd gone out to the Globe. COYW! I can't believe it's in an hour...

The Globe is the place to watch soccer in Chicago. It's on Irving Park , less than a block East of Damen (only about two blocks from the Irving Park Brown line via public transit and not far from the interstate if you're driving). Great beer selection, obscure scarf collection on the walls (two Tooting & Mitcham United scarves, huh?) and a bar staff that will have the game on with sound before you even have to ask. I'd be there myself if I wasn't concerned with not being able to get to work on time (I work at 5, and my job is a good hour 15 mins drive West of the Globe). If you can't make this match, definitely check out a World Cup game or two over the summer or Champs League Final next week.

I arranged for an offsite meeting that is sort of close to my house. It finished early so I'm now home ready to watch and nervous as hell. The Europa channel musac is playing in the background - no video yet. Makes me more nervous. Should I drink a Boddingtons or a Harp that is the question? I'll be in the chatroom for some company.

COYW Lets make some more history!!!!!!!
