Our contingent is increasing, as it appears that the good general will be jetting down to the Alamo City to join FulhamAg and I in the Lion and Rose. Alcohol will be involved!
It'd be great to join you guys but I'm only able to take a half-day on Wednesday and the family will be watching it here in Dallas at the Londoner. COYWs!
Steve, knowing we had fans in dallas would have been helpful to me three weeks ago when I made the promise to visit san antonio because I didn't know any fulham fans in the area That's fine, we'll have a great time in SA!
Yes Mr. theGeneral, I've been searching for two years now for somebody local to catch a game with...guess that's what I get for frequenting the FoF board more than the FUSA board. The family and I are going down to San An-tone mid November (there is a 1/2 marathon that the missus is running in) so if you enjoy yourself down there...might want to consider making another trip in 6 months. The plan is to go down and see a Tim & Bob show, a Fulham match at the Lion & Rose, and cheer the Missus on through her run.
:3d laughing: Thanks to the LA boys for the memory jog. I'll bring my digital camera and then pester Fog for help loading the pics.
From left, Adam (general125), Don (hatterdon) and Matt (FulhamAg) at the Lion & Rose in Alamo Heights.
The boys with supporters from other clubs. The guy in the middle is a Spurs shareholder. Not sure who the other two supported but I'm pretty sure one was Celtic. In all, there were over 20 supporters in the pub from different clubs and not one person rooting for Madrid.
Cool.. but why did you wait till after the match?. {judging from the dour faces, ie; Don's been following footy a long time} -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added: Those of you posting pix.. note those are on photobucket. SOME pic sites still dont accept re-direct linking so they wont show up here. Photobucket always has and still do, it's what I use. If you have Google account using PB is a snap. And tho they complicated things with their continuous 'new-improved' interface, it's still relatively easy.
