LA Europa Final

As said in all the other match gatherings, this is history in the making. Not a stretch to say this might not come along again in our lifetimes. The Fox and Hounds in Studio City is the place, so you have time to come up w/an excuse to get out of work. Carlos is in, as well as my better half and myself. Tim come on down (I owe you a round), LOBO; I've already sent you a text. Eric; tax season is over, Fernando, Downey isn't too far to drive, Tovi; SB is a monster drive, but a 4 hour drive can be soothing. LAX; time to call in sick, Kansas; your next article for YA can be about Clint's European adventure. YankeeJim, I'll try and track you down. Any other SoCals....LET"S Do This. 1st round is on me people!!!!!

Looking for something to tell the boss? I am officially in. I now have the day off from work.

 

So far that's Lax, Tim, Brian (LOBO), Carlos, and Edgar (Kansas) says he's going to try and make it. Still waiting on the responses from a few others. Looks like a good turnout considering the noon/1 pm start.

 

LOBO sent me a text saying that the Fox and Hounds has the Final listed on their site at 11:45 AM.

Still waiting on Eric and Fernando, but YankeeJim is going to try and make it if his work schedule allows it.

 

Count me in.

Thanks guys for coming out. Still heartbroken, but it was glorious to see the Fox and Hounds packed and all cheering for our Whites. There is sure to be a WC meet-up in our future and, I'm sure, many more memorable Fulham matches!

 

Unfortunately Brian (LOBO) had already left when the photo was taken. Gut wrenching way to lose. The F&H is small and to have the main room totally full of people rooting for Fulham was awesome. Great to meet Matt (Lax) and Edgar (Kansas). LA Live for the England game sounds good to me.

Well, my activity on the boards has been minimal so I guess I have an excuse.
