Aaronson is rolling at RB Salzburg getting two more goals today. He is currently averaging 0.57 goals/assists per match. I’d recommend sticking around to the end of the clip, the nutmeg pass to set up Aaronson is pretty sweet as is the finish.

DeAndre Yedlin’s move to Galatasaray has gone very well. Galatasary won their final 6 matches to finish second in the Super Lig.

Personally, I’d like to see him get called in for the upcoming friendlies.

Werder Bremen who have managed just 1 point from the last 27 available and now sit on the brink of relegation fired their manager with one match left in the Bundesliga season. If the season had ended this weekend it would have been Josh Sargent and Werder Bremen versus Julian Green and Greuther Furth in the relegation playoffs.

Schalke has had a dismal season, but Matthew Hoppe has been a bright spot w/6 goals on the season, and this one all but killed off Eintract’s bid for Champions League football. Looking forward to him playing w/the Nats

Fabrizio is normally spot on when it comes to European transfers but he has missed on players transferring from MLS before and the SKC beat reporter says the deal is close but not final according to Peter Vermes.

Lots of recent updates regarding Americans on the move.

Gianluca Busio is joining Tessman in Venice.
    https://www.sportingkc.com/news/spo...a-busio-joins-venezia-fc-in-club-record-trans

Sam Vines has made a move to Belgium.

Fresh after scoring a brace last week against Dusseldorf, Josh Sargent was kept out of this week's match due to an imminent transfer - reportedly to Norwich City and the Premier League.

While all these moves are exciting, I fear that relegation battles are in store for two (maybe all three of the new teams) and am not sure that is the best environment for the players to try to make their mark on European football or build their pedigree for the national team.

@astroevan Couldn’t agree more Evan, especially w/Sargent. You don’t produce right away in England (his role will likely be as an energy guy off the bench) and his minutes will dry up.

Josh Sargent bagged two goals against Bournemouth today in his first start for Norwich. He got about 15 minutes in their two league matches, but today he led the line. Good start for a quality striker.

A number of US internationals were moved yesterday. Here is a nice summary.

    https://www.si.com/soccer/2021/08/31/usmnt-transfer-deadline-day-hoppe-richards-palmer-brown

I'm excited to see more players in France and Spain this year (even if it's just a loan for most). Most of these players should find regular game time which will help with the depth of the player pool for WCQ.

I was really hoping that CCV would get a full transfer out of Tottenham but I guess he's destined to languish in loan-land like Miazga and Palmer-Brown.
