It’s a results business and it’s been awhile since Fulham smashed Millwall. Breaks tend to even out over the course of the season, and we’ve been on the short end of the refereeing stick the last couple times out. So, hoping for another good performance, maybe a call going our way, and most importantly 3 points.

On paper these teams are pretty evenly matched. Fulham sits at 11th place with Wednesday just above at 10th. Wednesday has earned only one more point than Fulham. Both teams have given up 6 goals. Fulham has scored one more goal (11) than Wednesday (10). Might that mean a third draw in a row for Fulham? I hope not, I'd rather see Fulham go on a winning run again.

Team over Family! Arter is rightly on the bench rather than in the starting XI:

    Bettinelli
    Bryan, Ream, Mawson, Sessegnon
    Cairney, Reed, De Cordova-Reid
    Cavaleiro, Mitrovic, Knockaert

Subs: Rodak, Odoi, McDonald, Johansen, Arter, Onomah, Kamara

How many points have we given up at the end of games? I haven't done the research, but I know the answer is too bleeping many.

I watched the match live on FFCTV and Fulham fully deserved the end result that they got. Fulham absolutely dominated Wednesday prior to Cairney's goal. The Owls did get a few breakaways that were dangerous, but they were totally unable to keep possession (my only complaint in the first half is that they didn't counter enough when Wednesday did find themselves in the Fulham half - Cairney's goal came from one of the few Fulham counters). Then as soon as Fulham got one goal, their tactics totally changed. The team became super cautious and looked for any opportunity to waste time. I was frustrated they did that to close out the half when they should have taken the opportunity to get a second with the Wednesday keeper looking into the sun, and then they stuck to their uninspiring game plan for the full second half too. A draw felt inevitable as soon as I saw how Fulham changed after the goal. This is 100% on Parker's shoulders and I hope after this and the draw vs. West Brom he's learned something about how NOT to successfully close out a match.

70% possession and the inevitable loss of points after taking a lead -- this is our story, and I'm tiring of it.

It's no longer too early to be concerned that the attack is seriously flawed is it?
