Jack Grimmer (who's technically not a former White, but probably soon will be) scored the 3rd for Shrewsbury Town's FA Cup win over Barnet Saturday.

Really like Grimmer. Still think he'll be somebody's club captain, and I hope it's Fulham.

Who knows, maybe it will work out, but Emerson Hyndman's move to Bournemouth can't be regarded as anything but an unmitigated disaster so far. He never plays, rarely even makes the bench, and has all but pissed away his chances at making the '18 WC squad (knock on wood).

yeah, he was injured pre-season and by the time he was fit, they had the game day they wanted.

Needs a winter loan back to the championship for some PT. Aside from the injury sustained in pre-season, he was going to be hard-pressed to see any action after they signed Wilshire. Still, I don't think he's precluded from WC consideration just yet.

Looks like things are not going swimmingly for young (he's still only 24) Dan Burn at Wigan. The Sun says he got into a tiff with the new gaffer after their last match, a mauling at home by Reading. Supposedly blamed him for all three goals. I'll let you decide. Here are the highlights and the article (below the Paul Scholes to Wigan as an assistant speculation).

I stole the above quote from the Yanks Abroad thread. It sounds like he's getting high praise at Celtic from Brendan Rogers. And after scoring in the UCL match against his parent team yesterday, Pep has also suggested that they'll take a long look at his future at the end of his loan.

While Roberts was threatening throughout that match vs City, Dembele seemed totally uninvolved. Certainly Roberts had extra motivation to impress his parent club, but seeing Dembele just made me feel sad in comparison to Roberts.

My favorite was his 93rd minute winner vs Reading. I think this was also Ruiz's last goal for Fulham.

Brighton did help us out yesterday by beating Wednesday thanks to former Fulham keeper David Stockdale blocking a PK and the follow-up shot. Brighton won with 10 men in a match that saw three red cards.

While not official a former Fulham player, I think we can all agree Richard Stearman will not put on a Fulham jersey again. On Saturday he avoided an offside call to get the first goal in Wolverhampton's upset vs. Liverpool in the FA Cup

Aston Villa sends McCormack to Nottingham Forest on loan. Villa has scored only 28 times this season, third lowest in the league, and McCormack was responsible for only 3.

Got to see him in action during our visit in 2014. Came on for Kasami just before the hour mark. Didn't score (Hugo did in a 1-nil, rare, victory over Norwich during the (cough, cough) Magath era. Liked him a lot. The juxtaposition of one of our more recent enemies paired with one of our heroes stuck, I guess.

Woodrow gives Burton the win in the 94th minute because THAT'S WHAT CAULEY DOES! (note: I realize Woodrow is not a former White, but I didn't think this deserved its own thread. Heck maybe a thread called "Woodrow Scoring Goals for Burton" will get a lot of posts. I'll leave that up to Don.)
