I guess someone has to start one on what may well be the most apathetic fixture since I've been a supporter. In case you missed it (and who could blame you), Bairdinho was recalled by Derby http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/fulham-lose-chris-baird-back-11276310.
So that move went for naught.
It now appears we may well finish just above the relegation zone, which means Joka did his job...just barely. So far, I haven't been too impressed, although I think he's been experimenting a lot, especially since we were mathematically safe. There's no reason for optimism that we'll get a result against the worst team in the league.
They beat Hull last weekend, so they, like most teams heading into the Cottage in recent times, will fancy their chances. They'll be bolstered by the return of Arsenal loanee Wellington Silva, a Brazilian winger (yes, Don, a winger) whom Wenger loves and is only 23. As for us, I don't have any idea who will start, much less who'll even be named to the bench. One thing's for sure...it'll be the final appearance for a lot of guys in a Fulham shirt. And that'll be fine with me. Unfortunately, I see another wretched performance from a group who absolutely laid down last weekend at Brentford. We'll at least find out who's got some pride and professionalism for the last game of the season. However, Don's comment from the previous match is still floating around in my head...Just what the hell IS Joka doing on the training ground during the week?
    What, indeed.

I'd like Cauley to start up front with Ross and Burn and Hutch as our CB duo. I'll be listening and hoping.

What Don and nev said. And I'll be hoping that Fredericks is out there at the opening whistle as well. Only player we have with any pace whatsover. The lad makes things happen. After last week, I don't think Dembele will be sitting on the bench at the start. I will disagree on one thought from the right honourable gentlemen from South Texas. A cursory glance at our results sort of confirms what I suspected: that a CB pairing of Burn and Ream seems to be our most effective formation there. I'll be at the track for a small horse race we have around here this time of year. But I'll be attempting to monitor the match via my iphone, if there's enough bandwith for me to do so.

I don't think there's been an actual conversation in the chatroom during a match since Trump was a long shot. Anyone going to try to make it Saturday morning?

We've had oodles and oodles of rain here, so my son does not have a baseball game tomorrow...I may make an appearance.

I don't know that I've ever seen a match recap where the other team only had one possession replayed - guess that's what happens when you manage 0 shots on target.

Finally got a chance to watch this. Man, Matt Smith could easily have had 6, but Dan Burn had better accuracy on the day. Go figure.
