Meeting up with old friends Stockdale, Sidwell and Zamora, although it's a mystery whether Bobby will be there or not. He's been sidelined with "soreness" whatever the hell that means. They're comfortably third, which means they should win. Except this is the Championship, which means it's a toss up. I like where we're at right now, so I think we keep it going. At least I hope we do. After last weekend's result and some guys hopefully returning from knocks, it'll be interested to see who Joka picks for the side, not just who starts.

I have heard that this isn't on television. Why would that be?

If Fulham wins and MK Dons and Charlton lose this week, then we are mathematically safe. Which is probably the #1 reason why we won't win. Why relieve the tension when we are having so much fun right now?

Just as we did last week with Cardiff, I'd like for Fulham to avenge an unfortunate result from early in the season. We were just as good, if not better, than Brighton and Hove in week 2, but an injury time PK gave them the win. Let's get revenge with three points and keep them out of automatic promotion!

Confession: I do have a hard time rooting against Stockdale and it is worse now that Darren Bent isn't around to counteract my positive feelings toward Stockdale.

On the bright side (or should I say "Brighton" side HA!), maybe this means we get to see more Hyndman. Put Stearman back where he belongs in the middle and give Fredericks the start. I'd be happy with that.

Hope to be wrong, but thinking the winning streak ends here. Brighton is 15 points ahead of 7th which means the playoffs are all but assured and they are only 2 points behind automatic promotion. The Seagulls should be playing with little pressure and a ton of confidence. Add in a home record of 13 wins, 4 draws, and only 3 losses, and a point would be a fantastic result for Fulham.

Totally agree about Stockers, rated him highly. Saw on the espnfc preview that Bobby Z is on the shelf with a hip injury and won't feature.

This should be an interesting barometer for our progress. We've gone all year laying eggs after a win. Now we've won 3 in a row, are comfortably out of the drop zone & facing a team playing for automatic promotion. If we get anything from this match, I'll be very happy.

    Because someone likes us?

Did we play with 9 men? Brutal.

Of more immediate concern is the sudden two game drought for the McCormack-Dembele strike tandem. Here's hoping one or both get going again at Ipswich, where we haven't had much luck. In fact, I think we've lost every match against them since relegation.

So, before our match Friday, we were 10 points clear of relegation [superior GD made it actually 11 points] with 5 matches for our opponents to catch us. After the matches today, we are now 9 points [or 10] with 4 matches left for our opponents. Despite the magnitude of the ass whuppin we got, we actually moved a bit closer to safety.

The point, by the way, was picked up by MK Dons in amazing fashion. After their yank keeper got a red card while committing a foul that resulted in a penalty deep into injury time, the Dons' striker saved the penalty and the point.
