We are on that proverbial trek across the desert, the canteen down to it's last few drops of water, and what do we see in the distance? A collection of palm trees, grass, and a pond. Is it an oasis or a mirage? I believe we are closing on a life giving win, but until it happens I think it's our eyes playing tricks on us. The atmosphere at our neighbor's will be great, and just hoping that long lost 3 points is finally realized. COYW!!

September 25th seems like a long time ago. A lot has changed, but the bulk of our goal scoring firepower is still around. Hopefully they'll get untracked and our defense will continue improving and we'll get a result. Haven't really checked, but I think the roster's quite a bit different for QPR. I know Rob Green is gone, but other than that, that's just my impression. Oh, and Charlie Austin, too. Fingers crossed....

This game feels like one that will either be a huge triumph, or a huge disaster. The atmosphere will be intense, QPR will be out for revenge, and our boys will be fired up to get a desperately needed 3 points. Seems like a recipe for a great game.

(Prays to shrine of Roy Hodgson and Danny Murphy in closet.)

And it's supposedly being broadcast live on beIN Sports.

Should be an interesting game, no doubt. I don't have any expectations these days - new-ish manager, new players... I think it'll be close though.

it is indeed on live TV and -- despite having a gig later that evening -- I'll be up early to watch.

Further proof that ignorance is bliss. Totally buggered the early kickoff and awoke to....THREE POINTS! Needless to say, I will try this until we lose or draw (never eff with a winning streak...Crash Davis), so until then, COYW!

My computer is petitioning the governor for a reprieve from the death penalty levied on it Thursday, so it may be a while before I "View" this. Having said that, we looked very good today. Cairney, O'Hara, and Dembele really looked good. Ross was brilliant. Madl looked prmising on the right side of a 3-5-2. We may have seen the end of Ream if Love Bite is preferred to him on the left side of a 3 CB formation. One thing that was telling was that we ended the game with 60% possession. It was 65% during the first half, but even though QPR through everything at us in the second half, we still kept control of the ball. Good stuff. There wasn't a single point in the game where Rangers put in even a sustained 5 minutes of pressure on us.

Nobody in the chatroom the couple of times I tried, but that's understandable. I understand we're playing on Tuesday @ Blackburn. Three more there would be nice, eh?

Jump I also missed the game, but it was because I was at the doctor's with my 13-year-old goalie who fractured his finger in a game Friday night. We were waiting for his X-ray results when I saw that Fulham had won. I gave him the bad news that this meant that when Fulham needed to break a losing streak, we'd have to break one of his fingers. His reaction indicated he isn't committed to the cause. He claimed, irrationally, that his finger had nothing to do with the outcome.

Hey, hey, hey! Don't assume anything here! :D

I'm the one who tried to talk him into getting finger-save gloves! I'm not sure if they would have helped anyway since it was an impact injury. He dove and his hand, the turf, the ball, and the kicker's foot all met at the same time.
