Assuming we brought these three in to NOT sit on the bench, who gets their playing time reduced?

I think the young striker is going to be #4 on the depth chart.

I think we see him in the 10 role or out wide in midfield.

I'm thinking either Parker or O'Hara sit, maybe both make way/split time for Ince and Labyad. They're both not getting any younger and are slow. I think the quotes in the article are telling, don't think Labyad was brought in to be a back-up striker.

And Madl? Ream? Stearman? Burn? Ream and Stearman seem to have fallen somewhat out of favor since Jokanovic arrived.

Was wondering what happened to Stearman. He seemed like a great signing, but hasn't played in a while. Actually looked up to see if he was injured but can't find anything. I know some are fond of Burn, but I'd rather see a player with Stearman's experience out there.

It's weird. I thought Stearman was a good signing as well, but his primary talent seems to be assaulting the woodwork after conceding. And Burn? Despite his deficiencies, he's like the bastard cat or bad penny you keep trying to get rid of, yet returns again and again and again. It's going to be interesting to see who lines up to face Derby, that's for sure. I'm sure we'll see Lonergan and Ross, but after that? Dunno. Would be interesting to watch practice this week at Motspur...

Lovebite returns???? Is this some sort of Boro retribution for them not getting Ross? ;)

All things considered, not a bad window, and I would think the atmosphere at Motspur for training should be the most upbeat it has been for a weeks.

From that link, Kline was an @ss in terms of getting along with people (not sure how true that was), but I can imagine an American law student with an attitude would not fly with traditional English football club management. Analytics can be very useful, but as a tool, not the be all end all.

I liked Pringle, but he's been persona non grata for awhile.
