    Why the Steelers are despicable.
I was a Big Ben fan.. and who didnt love Bradshaw & Mean Joe Green?
It's the big picture that counts: The bottom line is that the Steelers all too often seem to be involved in the ending of Bengals' post season chances by any means necessary. It's ALWAYS accidental of course. Last time was taking out Carson Palmer with a dodgy tackle.
I wonder... Well, I'm getting too old to be philosophical. Dont expect me to root for you in the playoffs, this time. I hope you get creamed!
Screw you, Steelers, and every single one of your stupid knuckledragging fans!

Yes, yes.. I KNOW that if anyone was at fault for Dalton's injury it was his own self. So it's not logical to blame Steelers even with all the hate they spewed.
I dont need no stinking logic. Pretend I'm a Trump supporter. Or a Democrat. Oh, wait.. I just repeated myself.
    That is all.

Is this the wrong thread to say my better half is a die-hard Steelers fan, and she thinks it's karma since the Bengals took out LeVeon Bell 2 years in a row on very suspect tackling? Andy Dalton hurt himself tackling, but the Palmer injury back in the day (more than dodgy) caused a changed to the rules since it was so bad.

Also me thinks this is the wrong place to admit to having tickets for opening night of Star Wars. The first three were family events in the household I grew up in. My brother and sister are quite a few years older than I so the first two installments they would wait for hours in line (and this spoiled brat reaped the benefits!) and my parents and I would show up just in time. The first 3 are classics (the fighting teddy bears in the last dang near ruined it for me however). The prequels are a collection of meh (the casting of both the young and older would-be Vader were terrible), mostly due to George Lucas not handing off the reins. He now has and the director they hired JJ Abrahams has the new version looking great (at least from the trailers).

"More violent towards Americans." Classic, so let's all go grab a gun. And I'm not anti-gun, but that statement is ridiculous.

Funny, that was my initial take away as well. The world is becoming more violent to Americans? Those blinders he's wearing must be something special.

Maybe he printed it on his Teletype. :)
    Chill out, Shurriff!

Oh well, guess what. LEO's are human too.
I agree he didnt need to be specific about any group. People arent stupid...

BESIDES; you are about 100 times or more likely to come to harm from a home invasion by 'other good Americans' than by Islamists.

I dont like it when people play on our fears whether it's someone on media or government telling us we are {meaning should be} afraid. Or some guy like that

I envisioned an old, backwater sheriff hunched over his keyboard, using the old hunt & peck system as he typed that out. All caps...because the shift key is a bother when you're huntin' & peckin'.

Speaking of LEO's.... I gotta admit I do have evil thoughts. And when I heard that the dashcam tape of the Chicago cop shooting had been covered up I just KNEW we were gonna see Chicago Politics in action.
Sure enough.. FIRST we heard that Rahm, the mayor didnt know anything,
It was Cook County Prosecutor's Case, ya know.
Well, if you dont fall on the floor laughing at that, and you either live around Chicago or are over 35, I gently submit you should have the right to vote taken away from you.
And you obviously never watch entertainment media.. like um... 'The Good Wife".*

So.. when I heard that The Police Commish got fired in the Aftermath, I giggled some more... Sure, his career is ruined, never mind he obviously did some great work in the past.

These were exactly my thoughts but I was too lazy to put them down:
    https://pjmedia.com/blog/rahm-emanuels-patsy

"McCarthy may have come to Chicago thinking he was going to show the rubes on the prairie how police work is done in the Big City Back East, but in the end it was the rubes who showed him how politics is done in Chicago.

If he didn’t see it coming, he had no business in the job in the first place."

Heh... exactly! I ain't holding my breath that the move to recall Emmanuel is gonna go anywhere, but if he is shot down into a flaming pile of dung, I will be very amused! After all..

"A crisis is a terrible thing to waste!"

    - One of Rahm's memorable statements, though he didnt coin it.

    * Ever notice that in 'Good Wife', the Mayor of Chicago is almost NEVER mentioned?
    I rest my case.

Now for something totally different and apolitical. Just Dumb
Ever wonder about the logic of 'As seen on TV' product offerings?
'But WAIT! For everyone who orders in the next n minutes, you get a SECOND WIDGET .. FREE!'
"Just pay separate packaging and handling"

Which makes absolutely no sense to anyone with the slightest understanding of logistics.
In the real world of on-line commerce, you buy two of those same items, there's no additional shipping costs.

You know... I really like Steve Harvey. I bet he is devastated at this, not from his twitter feed but knowing how he was on his show.
Family Feud's constant use of innuendo, however, makes me cringe.
