Which means Tim Ream is due for an ankle injury in 3... 2... 1...

I'd be very pleased if the club signed Ream and/or Dunk. COYW!

Very pleased with the proactive window. So much better than waiting until Aug. 29th to try and get things done.

Getting a bit nervous about all of this. Perhaps they're waiting to see if they get both Ream and Dunk and trot them out simultaneously? Sure hope so, but the longer this goes, the squeakier my bum gets.

Perhaps they're waiting on a new work permit to be granted?

    http://www.inbrief.co.uk/football-law/footballer-work-permits.htm

This answer seems vague though. Do they automatically need a new permit or file for a new one when the old expires?

Had to laugh with the 'spooked by the ferocious intensity of life in Glasgow' line in that Gedion article. Tying onto the back of HD's Celtic thread, if he can't make in the 2nd division of Scottish football there is little hope for him.

Think that was more about racism, Joe. Maurice Edu played for Rangers & still suffered abuse and vandalism from their fans.

Zelalem would be a coup, but I'm skeptical over the likelihood. Regardless, there can be no complaints that the club aren't trying to address weaknesses and improve the squad. Any failures won't be for lack of effort.

Course that doesn't mean there won't be complaints b/c, you know, Khan is ignorant about football, only cares about the Jags and is an absentee landlord. ;)

They just bought in Conor Goldson from Shrews. This is just playing hardball. I'll be shocked if they don't sell him before the window closes.

I'm familiar with Joe Lewis from his time at Peterborough where he was really good. Given his youth at that time, I thought he'd be one of the up & coming young keepers in England. Hasn't worked out that way since leaving the Posh, but he's still just 27 which is young by keeper standards.

Wonder who makes the bench, Lewis or Joronen. And if Lewis, does Joronen go out on loan?

I'd expect Lewis on the bench and Joronen to go out on loan.
