Literally couldn't ask for a better away opponent than the Tangerine, but after those last two home fixtures where most of us thought safety would be assured, just hoping the team puts in a shift and takes their chances. Blackpool have lost or drawn 17 of their 21 home matches, so it doesn't get more inviting than this…so how I come I have this feeling of dread??

I think there'll be less need of emergency Kleenex at SW6 after this match.

We really should win this one. If we don't, I think the chorus for Kit's dismissal will reach the no brainier threshold...which will make me sad. Given the chatter, it may be a moot point anyway. Just want to see a positive performance for the full 90.

A Fulham win plus a Millwall loss to Cardiff means we are safe (Wigan no longer threatens us). Unfortunately, Cardiff sits mid-table with little to play for and Millwall has only lost once in their last five. I say we win, but so does Millwall to keep things interesting one more week.

Cardiff v. Millwall -- the convergence of the two worst behaved sets of supporters I ever encountered in England. It could be jolly fun outside the ground.

I saw my personal favorite is making the rounds now..."he should do the honorable thing and resign." The man has been on the job, what, 7 mos? And after turning things around and keeping us up, he's supposed to admit defeat with a squad he inherited and has been unable to make changes to outside of a few loans. Never mind the financial aspect.

    The match? We'll win. 2-0.

The pitch appears to have been somewhat renovated.

This interview with a Blackpool supporter is one of the saddest things I've ever read http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2015/april/17/inside-bloomfield-road

Mind you this is a team we were down 2 goals to at home back in November but we managed to get a draw. Things have been bad for Blackpool all season, but they are really, really horrible now.

Same defenders that coughed up two leads at home last time out. No Parker or Stafylidis, Fofana and Grimmer back on bench, Ruiz not starting but on bench.

Pitch isn't good for Ruiz. Not surprising he didn't start.

Fulham 1-0 Blackpool. That should do it. We should be safe now.

Don't care if it wasn't great performance, it was a great result. Nice to see a few teams below us in the table.

If you missed GJ, you missed hearing wonderful support by the travelers. They were pretty much all you heard throughout.

I feel much better about our immediate future. I hope Smith's not hurt too badly. As soon as we officially reach safety, I hope we start working on next season....immediately.

Hmm, let's see ... If we lose the last 2 and Millwall win their last 3 and make up a deficit of 10 in goal differential ... nah ... as desultory as this season's been, I think we can do the Safety Dance now.

One more reason to dance the Safety Dance: with Brighton losing to Wigan today and now three points behind us, they will have to defeat Watford or Middlesbrough (#1 and #3 in the league) for us to be relegated (along with all of the previously mentioned events above).

If Millwall win 3 and we lose 2, you might be surprised how quick 10 gd disappears. Millwall aren't winning 3 straight though, so it's moot.

Don, that's a generous definition of wonderful. We had 10% of the attendance minimum and the life was sucked out of that building a long time ago.

Still, good result & a clean sheet. Woohoo!
