A post on the FB page got me thinking again about BeIn Sports' coverage of the Championship and if/when we'll actually be able to see our matches for this season.

Is it fair to say that only matches with domestic coverage on Sky in the UK will have the chance to turn up here in the States? If so, opportunities are going to be scarce in the early parts of the season...Sky's schedule for the first few months only has one of our matches, our opener at Ipswich.

Look also for Wednesday matches and Monday nights. beIN covered those as well as League Cup matches. The big concern on Saturdays and Sundays is beIN's other leagues -- which last season were Spain and … uh … Scotland?

They've added games for a couple semi-derbies. If anyone knows how to watch the games that aren't on TV, I'd be glad for the information. They really ought to set up some sort of streaming situation for us US fans. I don't mind doing a little hacking to get to see the Sky games, but I'd rather pay the club some money to see the matches for real.

    FRI 24TH OCTOBER
    Fulham 19:45 Charlton Athletic
    Championship, Sky Sports (19:45)

    FRI 21ST NOVEMBER
    Brentford 19:45 Fulham
    Championship, Sky Sports (19:45)

Sadly it appears that BeIN Sport is choosing to show pre-season friendlies featuring Spurs and Barcelona rather than meaningful league matches from the Championship this weekend. Has anyone seen anything different?

No, Tim, that's what I'm seeing. They show they're airing the Friday game. But I don't see anything Championship specific for Saturday. There is a 4pm (ct) block just labeled Soccer. Maybe that'll be a tape delay Championship match? One can hope.

I think since this match will be on Sky we will have some rouge stream options to choose from. :)

Cool. Hopefully that's the case and we can give the new chat room a test run.

I'm trying to figure out what a "rouge stream" is. I've never understood makeup.

Not that I know anything about online gambling, but has anyone tried to sign up for an account with Bet365 and watch matches through there?

Apparently their niche is they offer a multitude of in-game betting options and so they stream many matches for free to account holders and bettors alike. I'm just wondering what their schedule looks like for matches and if holding a US IP address is beneficial or detrimental.

If it means watching more Fulham matches, I'd throw some pounds down to watch. Hypothetically of course.

We have official confirmation that the match will be available for streaming sometime after the final whistle.

Don't think Bet365 is available outside of the UK...

Also, what's this I'm hearing about the game's being available on delay??

FulhamFC will have the full match available about 24 hours after the whistle on their website.

I logged into BeIN connect through my twc account and the game shows up for noon tomorrow. I'll be in the chat room then. Good stuff!

Does anyone know if you have to pay extra for the BeIN connect site? I can get there via my cable provider ID, but I didn't sign up with BeIN because I'm not sure it would be worth an extra expense.

Sac, if you get BeIN Sports on your tv, you get the BeIN Connect service at no additional charge. If you don't get BeIN Sports from your cable provider, you'd have to contact them and add it to get the Connect service. It works just like watching ESPN or HBO Go or any other channel's online viewing option.
