    To go along with favorite beers, list your current pub or dive bar... and share a picture and some info about it.
    Since the trip to LA, we now have a 'family pub', 'Ye Rustic Inn' in Hollywood.

    Left to Right: My niece Carmen {one of the funnest bar keeps}, Kevin, Mrs PF. Missing: Todd working a wedding, and myself who shot the pic.

    Of course, we didnt have the Credit Card problems but hey.. we're 'family' and that's exactly how we were treated. Imagine walking into some bar the first time and being treated like family!

    Yeah, I know this will take some extra work, other than just typing. But isnt it worth it?

    Please limit the size of the pix to 400 pixels wide, if you dont know how just download this and drag/drop the image file over it, before uploading to photobucket{dot}com or another site that allows linking.

    Google should also easily get you some info.. that's where I got the LA 'citysearch' review on the Rustic.

    Won't pick one here, since it might hurt us from playing another one, but my favorite drinking spots are all in England anyhow.

    1. White Horse, Cotton End; The Swan, Kempston; The Boot, Langford; The Fox and Hounds, Old Warden -- all in Bedfordshire.

    2. The Cock, Baldock -- in Hertfordshire

    3. The Queen's Head, Ambleside [in the Lake District].

    And a cast of thousands all over the country.

    Wow, lots of options here!

    Don't know that I have any pictures, but in no particular order...

    Dunbar's, Ithaca, NY (dives can be pubs, right?)

    The Red Lion, Greenwich Village, New York, NY (my favorite for soccer on TV)

    Lake Placid Pub and Brewery, Lake Placid, NY

    The Big Bang, St. Louis, MO

    There are two pubs where Katy's family live that have become my all time favorites:

    William the Fourth in Horsley
    White Horse in Shere

    My time in The Cock was between 1966 and 1968 with a couple of visits in 1971-72. Probably before your time M-in-N, and although I did look a little like the pix in the avatar -- taken in 1971 in Vietnam -- I looked a lot more "corporate" when I lived in England.

    - Churchill Arms in Kensington;
    - Chandos, by the National Portrait Gallery;
    - Wishing Well in Peckham;
    - The New Inn, in Bath;
    - Fox and Anchor (R.I.P.) in Smithfield.

    In NYC: Bohemian Hall -- possibly the last true beer garden left in NYC, and a HUGE vendor of Pilsner Urquell.
