The campaign ended this morning for HatterMom and me as we took advantage of early voting. I'm going to be unavailable election day, so we incorporated our privilege AND duty with some other errands.

Bexar County set a record yesterday for any early voting day in history -- 29K -- and if our excursion here in Leon Valley is anything to go by -- long lines, full parking lots -- today will be pretty large also. What does the large turnout mean? Well, I'm hoping for a new senator and the same US rep. Aside from that, I'll take what comes.

By the way, Spencer, primary reporter on one nation's election ... polling cruncher on another nation's elections ... all while in your first year of college? No need to explain anything. Well done.

I share a certain amount of your campaign fatigue, which is why I havent posted, lately. I'm pretty much gonna set the rest out. I doubt very much that anything I write will change anyone's mind.
That doesn't however, mean I'm not keeping track, and I have a huge folder of references, tracking back using real data not conjecture or innuendo - though some will call it that- on what to expect when Obama is elected and democrats have that 60% they want so much.

Now, Spencer.. about the 'socialist' tag. Exactly what makes you think he isnt a Socialist?

Because he's a Marxist? Just kidding. One thing's for certain, he's not an economist. Fortunately for him, his opponent isn't either.

I find this robo call bit to be amusing. Where was the outrage when Bill and Hillary were calling my house once a week (a piece)? Makes you appreciate caller id.
