100th cap for Jozy, will be curious to see how Arena sets up the team.

Will be interesting for sure. I'll be making the drive down the 5 to see for myself.

I realize that this was only a partial side of what we expect to see for the resumption of the hex but, damn, that was awful. What I feared would happen from a retread coach happened. Same old boring crap. I know it's early and this isn't our "A" team, but that was abysmal.

Saw the final score and was glad I was otherwise occupied and couldn't tune in.

Good to see a few players get their first caps.

A few thoughts while they're fresh in my head.

-The team was dull (as in, the opposite of sharp, not boring...although they were also boring). Call it rust, call it sloppiness. But there were far too many silly mistakes.

-Nagbe had a great first half, then faded. More than any other new/recent addition to the squad, he deserves more time on the pitch.

-I liked how Lletget approached the match. Pretty fearless for someone earning his first senior team cap. It didn't always come off but I have to admire the fact he wasn't overtaken by the moment.

-We need a left back. And Garza is not the guy.

No cause for panic yet. I have faith.

I wore jeans and melted in my seat.

That's all I took from the game.

Complaining about it being too hot in January?

    Yeah, it was pretty hot.
