USA hosts Colombia in SAN AN-DAMN-TONIO!!!!

    The best thing about this is that this is a FIFA mandated international date, so we'll see some good players. The other best thing is that it's on a Tuesday night, and I can't think that I'd have a gig that night. COOOOOOOLNESS!!

    Should be a good time. With the US playing in Prague six days earlier, I wonder if he will do a Euro-based roster for that game and a MLS/Liga MX-based roster for San Antonio. I am sure there will be a few crossover guys, but based on Klinsmann comments from a month or so ago, he sounded like he was going to trot some of the younger/new guys out there in these first couple post-WC friendlies.

    Still nothing listed on US Soccer about this match. I'm deathly afraid some New Yorker is trying to kill the game because "There's only Mexico fans in San Antonio."

    When these things leak out - opponent and location - with the USMNT, they are usually true. Cant remember a time when the leak was wrong. Hope you and Matt have a great time.

    No, and this might sound stupid to those of you who are single, but HatterMom is a tax professional and will be working late into the night the evening of the match. I can't imagine going without her, so I'll tape it at watch it with her when she finally gets home ... while pouring her a glass or two of vino, of course.
