The British are coming?

Has anyone heard if Fulham is going to make another trip over the pond this summer for a US tour? Any other clubs?

We are having a bit of warm weather here in SC and it has got me thinking about this summer and great ways to use vacation days. :wink:

 

My latest bit of info on a preseason tour tells me that Fulham will be going to Hong Kong this preseason to compete in the Asia Cup along with Liverpool and another team.

Also, rumour has it that we have put in an application to participate in the Intertoto Cup (which we won in 2001). So no American return is in the plans...just yet anyway.

 

As much as I'd like another trip to the States, I can see going to Asia and playing in the Intertoto Cup. Co-winning that in 2001 got us into the UEFA Cup tournament. It also give us some meaningful football to follow during this odd summer (with no World Cup or Euro this year).

What is the Asia Cup? Is it prestigious?
