Couldn't agree with you more, Tony. I'm a new Fulham fan this season as well and I can't wait until the Whites step on the pitch against mighty Man U!

I'm glad to hear Fulham's defence is doing well. Does it look like Boca will have a starting spot in the back?

A long time lurker here at FUSA..

I was at the Cottage as well. Front row on the Johnny Haynes stand...

Mike is correct Quedrue looked awesome...

I know that it was a friendly but it was the last one of the season, as such with ManU @ Ol trafford looming large I feel confident about our chances in the Prem. I see us between any where 9th and 16th. which in my opinion will be a difference of maybe 10 points. (i know that is a huge gap but one never knows with injuries or what not)

the back half of our team if heathly while not world class is finally solid...

beyond Boa here's holing that Collins John does turn into a true finisher...

Boca will be starting, even if we sign another cb Zat Knight will be the first guy on the bench.

I am not so certain that Boca will start on Sunday against Manchester United. I would not be surprised to see the pairing of Philippe Christanval with Ian Pearce. I am not saying I love this combination, but it is just a gut feeling I have that this is who Coleman will go with.

I also think Zat Knight will be in there ahead of Boca as well.

Boca starting isn't a given at all. Actually I would be surprised if Zat Knight wasn't in the starting XI...Cookie seemed to favor him last season, even though many people on here and other FFC boards couldn't understand why.

I think we'll see Phillippe and Pearce at the back, Cookie has commented on the pair and said he is well impressed by the shape these guys were in at the start of preseason.

    My predicted starting XI is:

    Niemi

    Liam -- Christanval -- Pearce -- Queudrue

    Brown -- Bullard -- Bouba -- Boa

    Helguson -- John

    Bench:
McBride, Boca, Runstrom, Knight, C. Jensen

I agree with Mike's starters, but I seriously doubt the line-up will stay like that for long, with the front being a revolving order and the CBs being volatile also. Midfield looks very solid.

Midfield does look solid. Claus and Brian coming on late could give us a great surge if a goal is needed.
