That is an annoying article. Hull City's owner did not add or change their name to the Tigers like some in the media are portraying. Tigers has been their nickname for years, and has been on their badge ever since I have known anything about them. Heck the badge also has big Tiger head in the middle of it -how much more Tigerish could Hull have been. The nickname originates from their kits often having black and orange stripes. The only thing the Hull owner did that could be remotely controversial was drop the AFC because he thinks it is too long and redundant, and I agree with him. If Khan were to change Fulham's name to the Jaguars it would be completely wrong and different than what Hull did. Once again the media making a story out of nothing - Foreign owner officially adds tigers to his teams name, Oh look Fulham has a foreign owner who also owns a team that is named after a big cat. I wonder if he wants Fulham to have a big cat name too.
