I am a new member from Chicago. I became a fulham fan after going on a tour of Craven Cottage in 2006. I've been to London twice but unfortunately Fulham has been away each time. I will be relocating to the UK to practice as a chiropractor. I will either be working in the midlands or in west London/Fulham area. Either way I plan on making the cottage my home away from home.

Welcome chirobob; good luck in your relocation (hopefully you'll get a gig in the Fulham area), in the meantime your certainly among a good contingent from the Chicago-land area.

Of course housing is a bit cheaper in the midlands, life would be a little more exciting in London, and the football quite a bit better. The whites have to promise me they'll avoid relegation. I'll probably be relocating for the final stretch of the EPL season. One quick question, is the NFL available on satellite in the UK?

    Hi Chirbob,

There was a choice of 6 games live on Sunday on Sky Sports. The basic subscription + sports channel is around £30-35 per month.

    Go cowboys.

SoCalJoe, and when does LA's team play the Cowboys next?

Does either USC or UCLA ever play Wyoming?

When you are 6 and have no connection with a sport it is little things that set you on the road to being a supporter. Namely my father bought me back a cap from a trip to Dallas and I have been a cowboy fan ever since.

So, I now (thanks to 'Fog) have my US sporting allegences sorted: Dallas Cowboys; The Redsocks; and the Crew (never got into basket ball).

Chirobob - As for the 23rd - bring on the bears, they are nothing without the supremeley mustachioed Mike Ditka. The Giants game was good at the weekend, it is a lot like watching Fulham, the constant feeling that you are going to take a winning position and blow it.

Okay GBFC, gotta respect Pops buying you a cap.

However, a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty has been called on Don. My brother and I had LA Rams season tickets (hard to believe LA hasn't had a team in 13 years). After I stopped whincing from HD's comment I looked up the NFL schedule and did notice LA is playing the Cowboys the week after San Antonio does.

    touche!

Yeah; I like to point out to my friends in the Twin Cities that San Antonio has 4 more NBA championships than the T-Wolves and just as many SuperBowl rings as the Vikings!
