Jimmy already tries to do too much; I think Hangeland is a great suggestion.

I think Davies should get some consideration. Maybe he's not demonstrative enough, but after the efforts he put in all season, I could see him being a lead by example type. But, Hangeland's by no means a bad choice.

RH has praised his leadership potential in the past. Seems like the obvious choice given the connection between the two.

I also would've picked Super Jim, but I have no problem with the Hangman.

Interesting choice...I thought Davies or Bullard would receive the honor.

I predict sore necks by referees that will have to look up in the sky a great distance to see the arm band on the player they are speaking to.

Hmmm..... after suggesting that Bullard would be Fulham's next captain, a friend of mine asked me who I thought would be captain.

I offered up Hangeland, Davies, and Murphy as possible candidates.

Hangeland is not a bad choice, but personally, I would have like to see Davies get the armband...

I don't think i would want the armband weighing down Jimmy. He does so much already...he is a free spirit, leave him to it.

I think, if asked by Roy, Jimmy could handle the captaincy of Fulham. All the players turn to him for inspiration or fire during a match, it would be fitting that he wears the captain's armband.

That being said, I believe Hangleland or Davies would fill the role nicely as well.

It's Davies for me, but no gripes toward Brede.

First choice was Bully, second Davies, but no complaints.

No Hangeland is too new to the EPL - hasnt even played a full season. It should be Bullard, Davies, or Murphy.

I like Hangeland as the choice. He is going to be a 90 minute player every match and seems to be extremly cool under pressure.
