Davis is a Rangers fan, so it would make some sense for him to be linked with them...

The kid has game. This is just a terrible mix for him here. Hope he kicks ass the rest of the season and comes back strong in August.

Agreed. I don't imagine Danny Murphy is going to be around forever, and I really think Davis is skilled enough to deserve another shot in a less screwy environment.

Little off topic but found this scanning for transfer news on FIFA.com.....wonder if Eddie Johnson realizes he is now one of the players who the hopes of all future American transfers to Europe lies upon? :)

I'm with you, Don. It's a shame that he's leaving now just as we're switching to a more passing oriented attack, which is really what suits his game best. I thought he looked great at the beginning of the season, but lost his way.

I am having a hard time believing we will sign anybody else. I am not convinced on Litmanen or Kaillo. I really hope Litmanen can show some of his old form though.

A post on TFI (citing Sky) says Rangers have the option to buy Davis if they're happy with him. FWIW.

Whoa! I do not like the fact that rangers can make the deal permanent. Are we that stupid?

I agree with you but there may be no coming back as it appears Rangers have an option to buy.

I was just about to edit my post to reflect this. It's a little depressing. I was very excited when we brought him in.

According to a poster on TFI, Spurs right back (and Canada national team captain) Paul Stalteri may be joining us on loan.

Stalteri is confirmed on the offal. Didn't see that one coming, but hooray for depth!

Stalteri is good. I don't have any problem with this. It doesn't address our areas of greatest need, but it's another step towards insuring that Chris Baird never steps foot on the field in a Fulham shirt again.

Has anyone else noticed that as of this point in time if you add up the players returning from injury and new signings that Hodson could theoretically field a line up that would only include five players that were available before the window opened.

    Keller
    Stalteri-Hangeland-Chistenval-Kallio
    ?-Bullard-Andreasen-?
    Nevland-Johnson

    Bench
    Litmanen
    McBride

That's true Barry - while RH has been careful to speak tactfully when asked about the quality of the squad he inherited from LS, I think he's made his opinion on the matter clear through his actions.
