It seems Coleman's a little high on Bullard:

"He was outstanding and I have to slow him down a bit because he wants to do too much. But how do you get the reins on someone who likes playing football as much as him?
"His enthusiasm is infectious and he's a great person to have in the dressing room. He's lively and we needed someone like him after losing at Old Trafford.
"Jimmy is the best £2million we ever spent. He's been here two minutes and already the fans love him. And there's more to come."

And why not? He's been the fuel to our fire so far! It's early yet, but it seems to me that JB is fast becoming not only our best off-season signing, but one of the best across the Premiership!

I was very impressed with him at Wigan last year and couldn't believe our good fortune that he wanted to sign with us. He's your future field captain and club captain for sure.

I love Coleman's quotes about Bullard's attitude towards the game.

It's a great feeling knowing we signed a real winner like JB. I agree, I see him as a future captain. Let's just hope we can keep him around the Cottage for a while.

Does anyone have a link for some video of the goal? I haven't been through my DVR, but I guess it wasn't on the review show. :(

Okay, so I just saw the highlights from this game on FFC a few minutes ago. I don't know what shot was better--the goal or the one that crashed off the woodwork (I guess the goal technically is better, but wow was that second one a missle!). Holy sh*t, is this guy good or what???
I have a new favorite Cottager!
