Yep, Joe.. it's freakin' tough dealing with issues one by one. Much better to just align yourself with Paulista's or Pat Buchanan.

Consider this, though.. trashing Dubya on the basis of his domestic big government agenda or, as Buchanan does, on his 'Rape of the Constitution' does tend to put you in alignment with the Paleocons.
Be interesting to see an analysis of WHAT the political working ramifications are, wouldn't it?

Yeah we know the Medicare Prescription bill was an outrage and we knew it then.. but it sure WAS 'Bipartisan'. And isn't citing the debt imposed by TARP, in the 'Monday Morning Quarterback' league?
Did we REALLY know it was mostly smoke? Do we know that, today?

Now we have to deal with the idea that Afghanistan may not be worth it at all. I'm a pessimist on that.
