I guess if it's just for this season it's fine, but a long-term solution would have been preferable.

Another in an increasingly long line of baffling & uninspired decisions.

I guess we'll always be wondering now why the heck Stockdale wasn't kept on. It really does make that descision look stupid if we couldn't replace him with something better.

Yep, gone from an experienced keeper who led a team to promotion from the Championship, and more importantly, wanted to be a leader on this team, to a 38 yr old who hasn't been able to get 1860 Munich out of the Bund 2 and, for good measure, assaulted one his teammates during a match last season.

Oh yeah, and he looks like Captain Sweatpants. Yippee!

"Fulham Manager Felix Magath said: “I’m pleased that Gabor joins us today. He is a goalkeeper with vast experience of playing at the top level in England and Germany."

That's nice of Felix to say, but it's not entirely accurate. His last season in the Bundesliga was 2002-03 with Hertha. He lost the starting job prior to the start of the next season, played only 14 minutes, and was told to take a pay cut or move on. He moved to Palace for the 2004-05 season, where he promptly led them to relegation from the Premier League. He played 5 matches on loan for Villa in 2006-07. He hasn't played top flight football anywhere since.
