    You stayed up for that!

Good man... or insane, depending on your schedule for today.

I woke up a little early to check it out. I went back to bed afterwards. However, I could not sleep much. Needless to say, I am excited about the season starting. Too bad we have to wait 51 more days.

    It's a good schedule, I think:

    * Starts at home against a very beatable Birmingham and then Blackburn before the trip to Highbury. A good start was the key to the 2003-04 season.

    * Two games out of three in October against MU and Liverpool, but they're both at home

    * The same thing in March with Arsenal and Chelsea, two out of three games but both at home. This time, the in-between game is away at Everton, but I think Everton will not be that good and if they are not, this would be a good game to have in between Arsenal and Chelsea.

    * The trip to MU is three days after a home fixture versus Spurs, so if they win that game as they should, it provides momentum going into Old Trafford

Tom, I was impressed with I got up at 6 this AM and looked for the fixture list that you had already posted!

I am tentatively planning to go to these two games. Flights are much cheaper in February and I can get to two matches in one trip. I am hoping to see two wins!

    That's a brutal March.

I guess the good news is that the really tough games are somewhat spread out between winable games.
