Recently Adobe seems to have stepped in it with Version 10 Flash player. I noticed several weeks ago that, although I was keeping my versions updated, several sites insisted I download 'the latest version'. When I did so, that didnt change anything, but broke video play on several sites that had previously not displayed problems.

A search on the problem just disclosed older complaints relating to MAC/Intel boxes, and certain installations on Win/XP boxes.

But it may be that the problem isnt with the client (user) code, but with the site (server) code. One of the offending/broken sites I sometimes visit now seems to work just fine.

So rather than find a 'fix', maybe wait a while longer.
