Maybe a bit early to start this thread (or maybe its been started somewhere else). Not much to say as I don't really know squat about either team.

What I found very pleasing when I bought my ticket for the home fixture was its cost....£5. Found that a bit on the low side considering a pint of at the Cottage Pub is not much cheaper. Not complaining though. :?

I'll be off to the away leg but a bit miffed that FFC fans only have 6 days to sort out their travel considering the second leg of the 2nd round isn't played until Thursday.

I just hope there is a good way to follow it. I know there is no TV coverage here in the States. I wonder if Fulham will have the radio play by play online? I'm hoping there is a chance some Finnish TV station will offer it and some kind Finnish soul will stream it online via Justin.tv.

Vetra has come back to tie things up. They are up 2-1 at the half, aggregate 2-2 now with Helsinki

Wow. If that result stands, we're going to Lithuania via the away goals rule.

Vetra wins 3-2 on aggregate. We are going to Lithuania. Good luck to those of you in England who may want tickets, their stadium is tiny.

To be honest, the thought of playing a tiny Lithuanian club scares me. I'd rather play Helsinki. Either way, we get football that COUNTS next week! COYW!

    This is pretty exciting. :D

Any chance there'll be TV coverage in the States?

Not much, I'm afraid. Neither FSC nor Setanta have it on their programming schedules and after an extensive internet search last week, it's still unclear to me who has the Europa League rights in the U.S.

    Zero chance.

I'm hoping we got GJ at least. Who knows if some Lithuanian TV station will air it or not. I can only hope if they do, someone there has a Justin.TV account.

That's impressive. Seems odd that you'd have this big tournament and not televise it yet the Gold Cup with 4th stringers has every match televised. Oh well. Chat room, I guess?

I notice on the team website that the travel packages have already sold out. Nice.

Re: RE: FK Vetra / HJK Helsinki

Going to miss the away game as I will be on holiday on the continent (actually in Munich on game day, could be worse, I will lift a hefty stein for the boys). Really looking forward to the home fixture. I will need to take off a bit early to get there on time from good ole Reading. The boss is a footy fan so its all good. Extremely amped up for some European football!

With any luck, I will catch them away in the next round.

I'll be at the 2nd leg if anyone wants to meet up before/after the match and share a pint.
