    Table predictions?

    Who will win?

    I'll go with Man United

    Relegation?

Southampton, Wigan, and, hopefully, West Ham

    Promotion?

No idea...don't really follow the lower divisions until about the end of the year.

Norwich going down. They were my early favorites for the drop and cemented that spot today. I'll pick the rest after the window closes.

I'll wait for Sept. as well, but I'll start with QPR going down, down, DOWN!

I'm waiting until the dance floor stops moving, but I think Norwich City is a banker. After yesterday, I'm also worried about Swansea -- who are tied with us for first place. Remember that last year's opening match was QPR 0 Bolton 4. Look who stayed up and look who got relegatec.

Now that the window has closed, I figure it's time to revisit this one.

I'll take ManU for the win.

    Fulham to finish 14th.

Going down, Norwich, Reading and Southampton. Southampton have failed to capitalize on their good early run of form (esp at home) and I think that'll come back to bite them. QPR could easily be in this mix if they don't get their defense sorted. I'd thought WBA and Swans might be at risk coming into the season, but looks like they got their manager hires right and they'll be fine.

Coming up...Blackburn, Blackpool and Forest. I like what Forest and Wednesday have been doing and it's a coin toss, imo, between them. So I guess that means we'll see Derby, Hull and Leeds b/c I never get this part right despite actually following the Championship a little bit.

Winner: Sheik City. (and Chelski pips ManU for 2nd spot)

Down: Wigan, Reading, Villa (though I'm putting my request in to the Big Man Upstairs to see QPR go down....). Honorable mention to N'wich (thinking Houghton finds a way)

Up: B'Pool (b/c they have the coolest kits on that side of the Atlantic), Cardiff (Bellamy becomes a hero), and Bolton (b/c karma will catch up with the Indian Chicken magnates.......and Rovers will lose the playoff game to a Stu Holden half-volley screamer).

    Relegated;

Reading; Pog got the paycheck, but not the best advice
Norwich; Classic sophomore slump for Canaries
Wigan; Keep putting yourself in the fight and your bound to lose one

Promoted; Blackburn, Blackpool, and whomever wears Black.
