One of the great things about Fulham clawing their way towards the top of the table is the meaning that all the other matches suddenly take on.

If we were kicking around in the bottom half of the table, a Man City v Stoke match would only elicit a "I hope its a good match" sentiment from me. Now I'll be screaming for Stoke like there is no tomorrow!

This weekend could see many of the top 8 sides on the table dropping points.

    SAT:
    Birmingham v Chelsea, 7:45am, ESPN2
Hmmm...beat Chelski yes!! Buuuut...pesky Birmingham are sitting there ahead of us in 7th position. I have few illusions about overtaking Chelsea but fully expect to leapfrog Bham...so go Drogba & Co.

Man City v Stoke, 10am, Setanta US
Droooooool! Go Stoke!!! Win one for Mark Hughes!

Liverpool v Wolves, 12:30pm, Fox Soccer Channel
Go Wolves! Kick em while they are down! Liverpool have confidence issues, and if Wolves can play em tough or score first Anfield could get ugly.

    SUN:
Arsenal v Aston Villa, 8:30am, Setanta US
Great match any way you look at it, and whoever loses, we win!

Hull City v Manchester United, 11am, Fox Soccer Channel
Ehh, well, here's hoping Josy Altidore scores a hat trick! This could be the perfect match for ManU to take out their frustrations on a weaker side. Whip, meet rented mule.

I don't care if it's the band of thugs Alan Rickman led in Die hard, I'd still root for ABC. Go Brum.

Liverpool will roll Wolves, so I'm not going to kid myself on that one. Also, I'd like Aston Villa to win over Arsenal -- I remember that fixture last year when none other than the Knightmare scored the tying goal. That and Wenger cries too much for me, he must be a Frenchman.

Hope Jozy at least plays for Hull this weekend; he didn't even suit up last game.

I will not ever root for Chelski. They could be up against an attacking alien race where Chelsea winning is our only hope for survival and I guess the human race would come to an end if it came down to my vote. :)
