"I couldn't believe how great everyone was singing, on key. It was rough men singing gently. It was an excellent experience. I want to learn more and more. I kept asking questions, 'How many teams are in the league?', 'How many games?' -- until I was told to shut up."

-- American actor Adam Sandler , in England to promote his new movie, "Funny People," describes attending the Fulham-Chelsea game. ( 4thGame.com)

Yep... Film Star and entrepreneur being more accurate. Of all the marquee names, probably the one guy you'd like most to hang around. Grounded.. knows his style and limitations, If he has an opinion, you can bet he's given it thought.

    Adam Sandler

At the risk of bringing ridicule upon myself, I thought "Spanglish" was a good movie, and he was pretty good in the only serious acting role I've ever seen him play.

    Re: Adam Sandler

I wanted to mention that but didnt want to look like I was gushing...
How about Mr Deeds.. 50 first dates.

Yeah the guy ALWAYS plays a self-centered immature asshole.... Who grows up.
Like I said, he knows his style and limits. Or is it he always makes the same message movie?

Put a point on it.. who would you rather watch in a flick: Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler?

I was taking a cheap shot. I liked his work in both Spanglish and 50 First Dates. I even liked him in his supporting role in Mixed Nuts.

As for who would I rather watch ... it's a lot easier dodging Adam Sandler than it is Ben Stiller -- THAT asshole is always in a movie, and for the life of me, I don't know why.
