As evidenced by that infernal text scroll they added. I used to catch the first 15-30 minutes, but that show is bordering on unwatchable.

Sorry for the highjack. Let's go shoot and pluck some liverbirds!

I don't think we should rest Dempsey. He's a much better defender than Gera and we're going to need that.

For one week only, Gera over Dempsey -- Deuce could use the rest, maybe coming in at the 60th minute or so, but take some time off. However, I have no idea how Gera did for Hungary this weekend, so I guess I should let Woy run the team.

Will have to DVR this one tomorrow, I have a prior engagement tomorrow afternoon. So, COYW and stick it to the Pool.

Valiant effort by our boys, and the goal frame. L'poo had about 5 bounce off. When your opponent's that unlucky you have to really step it up and score. they couldnt.

Still a great game to watch.

Sucks to give one up that late into the game, but I thought Liverpool easily outplayed us for majority of the game.

Im not complaining about Liverpool scoring two minutes into extra time I just cant seem to work out how the first half had one minute and yet nothing happened, other than the ball going out for throw in's Corners etc and then second half the same but with subs and that came to FOUR Minutes???? This one simply hurts. Gutsy defending by Panstil through out this game. I hope we can take something positive from this one and still make a run at Everton. Keep Fighting Fulham!!

I was really disappointed with Zamora today. Terrible touch the entire match, poor distribution the few times he did hold the ball up. We need better from him. That said, hard to complain with the result considering their performance and our friends the post and crossbar.

I couldn't agree more, Zamora was utter crap. Can someone explain why he is always in the starting 11? They needed to tell him they were wearing white today. Did they boo Johnson's sub because Z-dog was left on the field?

Also, Dempsey, stay on your feet. Ronaldo would have been proud of you.

Thank God we still have Hangman & the Big Aussie.

I think that was the Liverpool supporters. It sounded like he got booed every time he touched the ball in the second half down by their fans.

Bobby Zamora starts because he is very good at holding the ball up. He's Fulham's version of Emile Heskey. It would be nice if he scored as much as McBride, but his first priority is to hold the ball up and move it on to someone else.

... and although it'd be nice to finish in 6th or 7th place, and make it to UEFA, this Fulham team really doesn't belong in either of those spots. It's a good team, that plays well under Hodgson, but isn't talented enough or deep enough to be participating in the Europa League.

I think most people just wanted this team to survive this year, and they've done that... yay!!!

Yeah, I thought Steven Cohen's analysis of Fulham was pretty bad. Obviously he's a Chelsea fan and pays attention to the big teams the most, but it was bobbins of him to say that Schwarzer has been crap. He had nice things to say about everyone, but mainly out of ignorance.

Still like him and Kenny though, and the show.

Definitely the Liverpool supporters. He kicked their butts while at Everton once or twice and they never forget.

The fact is yesterday we were totally outclassed, by a far better team.

If we had been losing 3-0 at half time none of us could have had any quarrels with that, but to get into injury time and lose upsets me the most, you should be able to shut up shop in the last few minutes and to have a forward unmarked on or just inside the box is a major screw up.

Zamora was indeed useless, cannot have anything good to say about his performance, yes he wins the ball in the air, but then what follows would not grace a Sunday Park team, there was one move in the first half where he actually got the ball under control turned and faced the Liverpool defenders, Davies made an overlapping run on the right and just a little inside ball to him would have put the defenders in real trouble, but he ignores him totally, and tried to be so clever (giving him the benefit of the doubt here) by hitting AJ in the body so the ball would fall in front of him, but instead the ball goes out tamely for a goal kick.

The difference between them and us apart form the fact they have more money and tradition, is when they go forward they move with pace and quickness, they do not hang about, we in comparison are lethargic, our build ups are slow and predictable. Even Murphy looked slow and had very little idea on how to break them down. We are very lucky we won our last two games, because otherwise we would be really in the you know what. We have now lost including the cup game 4 out of our last 5 games at home, we have scored 3 goals and have 8 against, that's not good home form, and that record is obviously blinded by the great win over united, but lets be honest, even though they had 10 men especially in the second half they could have scored another four on us, but for some heroes.

Someone wrote somewhere that oh well we lost 1 - 0 to the team playing the best in Europe right now, so it was not a bad result, again that's the difference between them and us, we seem to accept second best, they demand not to be second best, and heres another thought, if we want to hang on to players like Hangeland, we need to push on, losing to them yesterday just might be the thing that makes his mind up for him when the big uns come a calling in the summer, and they will come.

No Fulham are just about safe this season, but yesterday was a very bad result for us, in more than one way, we should have done a lot better, even though it was Liverpool.

Yesterday's game was not a bad result. We almost got a 0-0 draw against the hottest team in the EPL. It probably could have been worse, but getting beat 0-1 to Liverpool is nothing to get too upset over.

Fulham is also second best for a reason: it's a small club. Fulham simply does not have the resources to push on into a routine place in European competition. Every once in a while Fulham might could make a run at it, but this was definitely not a year for it. Just because we are doing well point wise at the moment doesn't mean expectations for the season should be adjusted. On paper this team probably should be getting relegated cause it's thin and for the most part, not that talented. It's nice to kid ourselves that Fulham could do great things and hold on to all its best players, but the football world simply doesn't work that way.

Fulham is just fortunate to be where it is at the moment. That alone should be enough for everyone at the moment.

We should also have a little perspective... this is probably Fulham's best season ever. If they finish 9th or higher, that will be as good a season as any other previous Fulham team (excluding the FA Cup team).

Since I don't live in the states anymore, I don't get to watch the show but Steven Cohen just gets worse and worse from what I hear. He is clueless about the lesser teams and obviously still can't swallow that very bitter pill Fulham gave him in December.

Some let him know what a prat he is being and get his head out of his ass. Schwarzer crap? I lost any respect for Steven after hearing about that comment.

Actually, I like his radio show. It's not like we are awash in soccer talk radio, and the Two Gs are just God-awful. Their TV show is definitely not as good as the radio show, and sometimes they put their foot in it. At least they're on and giving the game attention.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't have anything against Fulham. For most Chelsea fans Fulham is an after thought, i.e., they don't care that we care (let me qualify this, Steven Cohen doesn't get hot and bothered about Fulham and generally has nice things to say about Fulham). Steven and Kenny aren't the brightest blokes in the business, but I like that they're just two average guys doing a national radio show. It's really a strange deal, but Cohen and his buddy were smart enough to find their niche with WSD.

Most of the information he gets is from the more serious podcasts (real journalists, with educations) in England. He kind of follows their lead with what to talk about. What I do like is that they bring a whole bunch of different voices from around the world, like Johannes from Bielefeld. They (Steven and Kenny) often have no idea what they're talking about, but it's still interesting to listen to, imo.
