Based on Roy's comments, who knows who he's going to put on the pitch Tuesday, but we have one mission: WIN within 90 minutes. This shouldn't be a problem.

With Zamora, Johnson, and Murphy rested a bit early, I'm liking this for Tuesday:

    -------------------------- A3O3 --------------------------

    Paintsil ----- Hughes ----- Hangeland ---- Kallio

    Davies ----- Baird ----- Murphy ----- Dempsey

    ------------ AJ ----------- Z-Bird -----------------

Etuhu, Dacourt, and Kamara by the 75th minute [no need to rush them back to fitness].

    We win 4-0

See folks in the chatroom [I hope].

I'm liking our chances of pulling off a win, no matter who gets the start as long as our back four remains unchanged and a few other key players get a go.

Ballsy call though with Baird playing a CDM position, but I wouldn't even mind that. If he played as well as he did against Tottenham, then that would be quite a lineup.

Doesn't seem like a terrible idea. Barely over two days after the West Brom match, it's important to try to use guys who've got gas in the tank. Etuhu was good today but coming off an injury maybe he'll be rested on Tuesday. Haven't heard anything about Gera being injured and he wasn't even on the bench today so I'm guessing he was being rested and he'll start against Swans.

I said this to the boys at Nevadas yesterday, but I think Dempsey needs a day off. He looks gassed out there, and really, who can blame him? Over the last two-and-a-half weeks he has played 90 minutes in three Premier League matches, 90 minutes against Mexico (a continent away), and 30 minutes against Swansea.

I'd agree Dempsey looked a bit gassed at first yesterday, but I felt he played really well all things considered.

I see us winning 2-0 tomorrow. I would love to see a 4-0 blow out, but I just don't see that happening.

Since no TV, I won't bother to sneak home from work early. I was able to listen to GJ at work before. Hopefully our network connection is strong tomorrow.

Tuesday is my story deadline, so I'll be lucky to even be able to follow gamecast.

Here's hoping for an Omozusi sighting!

It will be very interesting to see who starts tonight , I would like to see Murphy & Dempsey rested .
Dacout needs games so he should start , also Kamara might be given a start.
Roy has plenty of options , and we should be strong enough for Swansea even with a few changes.

I had a dream last night that we made the FA Cup Final versus Everton. Pretty cool dream except I woke up before the match started. In order for this to happen, we must win today.

I'd say we go for a couple of early knock-downs and goals to kill their spirit. It's about Dempsey time again, and that little bald-headed guy is always a threat to nick one.

    My starting XI:

    Keeper: Mark Schwarzer

Defenders: John Pantsil, Aaron Hughes, Brede Hangeland & Paul Konchesky

Midfielders: Simon Davies, Dickson Etuhu, Olivier Dacourt & Clint Dempsey

Forwards: Erik Nevland & Bobby Zamora

Subs: Pascal Zuberbuhler, Fredrik Stoor, Chris Baird, Danny Murphy, Julian Gray, Andy Johnson & Diomansy Kamara

My guess is, AJ will start. However, I wouldn't mind resting him a bit and perhaps see him come in during the final 20 minutes, if needed. I would also like to see Gray on the bench. I feel he played pretty well the last time he found his way on the pitch. Perhaps he could bring in some energy late.

I was hoping to pop in and out of the chat room between meetings with my students to see how the game was going; however, I just realized they've blocked FUSA chat on our school network. Bugger!!!
