That sucks to hear as I wanted to go to this game but it sold out before members had a crack and settled for the WB match instead but all things considered, that did not turn out not so bad. :D

Lyle, for Cork, his comment about Zamora was the closest thing to an endorsement I had read all season. It won't be long till Corky is wearing a Fulham kit, to games, with 'Zamora' on the back.

Just got home after staying the night in Fulham celebrating , everything about this game was the reason I love Fulham.
The players were outstanding , in the first half we were so dominant it was slightly embarrasing , was this really Fulham in white or were we dreaming .
Man U came out in the second half and gave it a go , but we stood firm , battleing and fighting for every ball like we were not going to lose , then my old buddy Gera sealed the win.
The crowd were fantastic as well , singing constantly boosting the players.
At the end of the game , myself, my brother and my son all had tears in our eyes , this win meant a lot.
All in all, one of the best team performances I have seen , and I have been going since 1967.

Thanks Corky. Reading your post and others makes it real obvious how high the passions run for the team from the locals. All the posts I have read have been incredibly jubilant.

Must have had a good night out and been terrific to celebrate the win with your son.

Corky It was good to see you on Saturday. I ended up going for pints with the guy who got me the ticket after the game and did not make it back by the Cottage Pub.

I am sure you guys enjoyed yourselves before, during, and especially after the match. I should have popped over to meet your family.

I enjoyed the post match so much so that I almost ended up in Swansea as I fell asleep on the train ride home and by pure luck, snapped out of it in Twyford.

    Beautiful game!

I got back to Cork late last night but was too tired to post .
I thought we played well against a very good and free scoring Liverpool team , we played more of a containing game today none of the mid field really getting forward to support the front men like we did against Man U .
I was very dissapointed we let it slip right at the end after 90 mins of working hard and trying to keep our shape , especially against Gerrard who has no position as far as I could tell , he plays a free role , very hard to mark him.
Schwartzer was outstanding again , probably our man of the match.
People will moan about AJ & BZ , but to be fair to them , they worked hard and were never going to get many chances .
All in all , a 0-1 Liverpool win was a fair result , but when you get into injury time its hard to take.

And, you must admit [okay, YOU don't have to] that Gera looked especially sharp as a sub.

Thanks for your perspective and appreciation of what we did right yesterday. Hope you had a great day out. It looked a glorious English spring day on the television.

Well I can tell you Fulhams domination of Stoke will not be reported in the press , we were so much better than them it was sad to watch , all they had was the long throw from Delap , which Hangerlang comertebly headed away every time.
The crowd wanted a second goal that never came , but I bet Roy knew one was enough to beat this shower of shite , and at the end of the day it's all about the three points.
I really enjoyed the game because I know about football , an excellent performance by a team that will be in Europe.

Harsh Corky but I had to agree...Stoke were bad, probably the worse shooting side I have seen all year. With that said, I think they rely so much on Delap that it's embarassing. Their fans doing the throw motion when he steps up is funny.
