I'm feeling emboldened by our road success and our tendency to rise to the challenge of the big boys at home, so I'm gonna say 2-1 Cottagers, with Ruiz and Berba penetrating Joe Hart's sticks.

I say we play for the draw and get it. 1-1

Fulham to lead 2-1 for 89 minutes only to concede in the 90th. 2-2 draw.

We're confident and, at home at least, aren't afraid of going after it against top opponents. I'll go 3-2 good guys. Berba with a brace and Rodallega gets one too.

Fulham 1 Man City 3 -- it would take 2 Bairds and 6 Sidwells to match up with Yaya Toure. I hope for no injuries and a positive approach.

And, surprise surprise, the match will be LIVE @ 0900 Central on Saturday on FSC. I hope to be in the chatroom as I'm watching. I'm also hoping that the front page article will be written by the distinguished gentleman from Lufkin -- and I don't mean the ghost of Charlie Wilson.

Hope to see you in the chat this week Hatter, missed ya last game.

BTW...do people want to see who in in the chat room on the main forum index page? I have mixed feelings about it. Sometimes I think it might help get more people in there and sometimes I think people might have reservations about joining in the conversation after seeing one name they might not like or know. Thoughts?

We get a pretty high number in there, wish those who do go into the chat room on regular basis would post on the board more often. The board kinda slows down during the week.

A chat index would be nice, and while I don't attend as often as I'd like, it is always a fun time - just make sure to censor my appearance so that the chat numbers stay high. ;)

Worth a shot Heather, my guess would be that it could only help. DC, how many people on the average weekly stop by for some or all of a match? Seems to me that it ranges from 10-15, which is really good. Agree that I wish that WB, Terri, et al. that are chat room regulars post in the forum, but just glad to know they are still around.

As for the match, I would take that elusive draw in a NY minute. I hate predicting against my team, but Citeh just throw ridiculous talent up front that is hard for the Thames Barrier to match up with. Hughes has got to play much better than he has, because Aguero, Tevez, and Balotelli are a handful (didn't mention Dzeko, because he is the type our boys shut down. I know that was the kiss of death, and he'll score a brace now ).

Ok, that line if code has been added. We'll see if it helps boost the numbers even more.

Yeah, Joe, we average about 10-15 users in the chat on match day by the end of the game. Since most games are early morning (sometimes very early depending on Time Zone), most arrive a little late in the game. Not too shabby. We haven't broke our record from last season yet, which I think was around 20-22? Anybody remember?

I cant make it to the chat again because I'll be out of town with no access to whatever it is that supports the chatroom. Good news is I wont be scaring people away.

I'll certainly make an effort to drop in on chat more often. I seem to buck the trend by posting here more often and only appearing in chat every once in a while. I won't be able to make it this Saturday, though, as I have plans to watch the match at a pub with a friend who is (for reasons I still can't fathom) a City supporter.

I think Fulham will pull a goal back late but run out of time and lose 2-3. Against Wigan, we were able to counter them with tactics that allowed us to exploit them in some 1 v 1 matchups. City play the same system Jol deploys, but they do it better and have the talent advantage at most positions on the pitch. I'd expect a rout if we weren't at the Cottage.

I appreciate that, but I don't want to be on the hook to write anything. If I do and someone thinks it merits front page consideration, that's cool. When I watch a match with my undivided attention I tend to do so more analytically, and as a result, have more to say in a post match write up. But I plan on being in the chatroom for this one since it's live and I usually watch matches more like a fan in that scenario, due in part to the multi-tasking of watching and chatting. But also because I tend to say whatever I'd put into a match review during the chat and don't want to repeat it all. Too bad GT Charlie's ghost can't write one. Wilson could spin a heck of a yarn and I bet he'd have been an entertaining read.

Now, I could be tempted to provide a review of a certain play I'm attending on Friday written by a certain :banana-guitar: FUSA poster. :D

Yeah, I think without Berba plus the ridiculous amount of attacking power City has we're looking at our first loss at home. I'd say 2-1 to City- but who knows, maybe we can steal back a point at the last minute... I'll still try my best to be watching and in the chatroom.
