If they didn't get one last week, with the Sunday-Wednesday-Saturday schedule, I don't see any reason to expect that Roy will give them one now.

No lineup predictions, that ain't too challenging --

BUT WOY, SIT GERA, START DEUCE!!

    PLAY NEVLAND!!!

    Hopefully Woy can hear that.

No predictions, I did that against Everton and look what that did for us :(

Actually, I do have a prediction. Man U will beat the Gunners like they stole something, Vidic will kick Fabregas or Walcott up one side and down the other, and Wenger will cry like he always does. How's that for going out onto a limb?

3-0 to the Fulham on a Hat Trick by Dempsey. You like that one Steve?

I agree w/Belle (except for the Hat Trick part, he actually would need to be on the pitch for more than 6 minutes 8) ), let's give the Geordies Hell.

    ----------------Pletikosa-----------------
    -Finnan-Hangeland-Coleman-Brevett-
    -Malbranque-Reyna-C.Jensen-Timlin-
    ------------Carew--Cousin--------------

Fulham 12-1 Newcastle, including a hat trick for Stipe Pletikosa who moves up to play striker after Cousin gets clotheslined by Joey Barton and Zombie Scott Parker. Mark Crossley's evil twin Clark Mossley finishes the game in goal.

    I'm serious, guys.

What is he going to do without Neckbeard?

The lovely Toons dropped Aston Villa with a brace from Martins. I think that Murphy, Hughes, Hangeland, et al will have to be especially aware of him on Sunday. The midfield for the good guys (us, who sees Newcastle as good?) will have to step up their game and maintain ball possession. NUFC's 56% to 44% possession against the Villians had to have been a factor in putting 13 shots up, 4 on net, and 2 in the back of it.

I'm not trying to be a downer, but that's what are opponents have done earlier this week. Hopefully Roy and the guys paid attention scouting these guys, looking for areas of weakness. If so and they pounce on them early for control the game or with a quick goal, I think NUFC will sink early and FFC has a good chance of getting a result at the Cottage.

Sorry for going AWOL guys but I got a job with the Chicago Blackhawks in May. I can't get on as often as with my old job. I also can't play chess while at work, can you believe that?

But I had to work my first weekend here and that was when I watched illegal TV to watch us stay up at Portsmouth, I was screaming and running around the office, they thought I was nuts...still do.

I miss it, I'll try to stop by more often. I still stick to my hat-trick dempsey prediction.

Sigh, I'm not optimistic about this match. I say 0-2, bad guys.

We need some bite in the middle of the field, and we don't seem to be starting the guys who can provide it.

The Hawks?!? I'm a puckhead who is glad to see the Hawks resurging. It wasn't even fun to hate them the last 10 years or so, I just felt bad for them. Bill Wirtz is missed about as much as a cancer.

This will be the match when it all comes together. Bullard's free kicks on target. Gera's radar re-calibrated. Zamora manages to head the ball. AJ does his 'sniffer Clark' impersonation. Davies plays like he did last year. Deuce comes on and scores. It all works..... yet we still lose 2-4.

Still waiting for Gera to come good. Hopefully it comes sooner than later, because the majority of Fulham's chances usually fall to him. Agree with DCHeather that some 'bite' is needed in the midfield. They are lacking creativity in the buildup and the tenacity in tracking back. Andreasen or Dempsey is the answer to that one in my opninion... we also have Gray. If we ever choose to let him feature.

Hoping for a good result, but bracing for the worst.

just noticed the change to the banner re-television coverage. I was going to rush back from church for the last 20 minutes in the chatroom, but since it's going to be taped and waiting for me, I'll wait and watch it "late live." Keep the faith in the chatroom. I think good things are coming.

Just read that Seol came back from Korea with a knee problem and that Kallio passed his bug to Stoor. Best guess -- same 11.

The Toon have a leaky defence,we HAVE to go at them fast and hard, don't give them a chance to give their strikers the ball!!!

Amen, and this can be done! Sit Gera... ah, I'm tired of repeating myself. Also, our defense can hold them, if we have a good day -- if Owen and/ or Martens show up to play it could be a challenge to keep a clean sheet.

Tomorrow is the game -- currently after today's games we are in 18th place. 3 points can conceivably take us all the way to 9th, depending on goal differences -- in which we could fare very well.

Please Woy, start an offensive minded midfield (i.e. Deuce), and go for it. This is the kind of team that we should beat when we are on our game.

see you tomorrow in the chat room, and COYW.

If we are to survive, these are the types of games we HAVE to win. If we lose at home to the likes of Newcastle, who the hell are we going to beat.
